Stacey Solomon shares adorable picture of herself twinning with baby Rex

The Loose Women panellist shared two adorable photos of her and her baby son wearing matching leopard print trousers with fans on Instagram.

‘Matching with my pickle before he grows up and realises how uncool it is!’ she wrote. ‘Not embarrassed to say we actually left the house and went out like this. I love how he is almost smiling in these pictures too!’

The TV star, who is known for being open and honest about her approach to motherhood, added: ‘If you’re wondering what the lumps in my top are just above my waist line, they’re my boobs haha. They live there now happy Saturday everyone!’

‘You’re doing good.. Mine are in my socks,’ one fan replied.

‘My first baby is now 4 weeks old and you’re absolutely giving me life!’ another commented. ‘Thank you for being so honest about motherhood!’

Earlier on in the week, the mum-of-three revealed that she’d visited a lavender farm to help her cope with anxiety. ‘Couldn’t keep my mind still today,’ she confessed. ‘It was wandering off into some strange places. After spending the morning Googling every which way to switch my brain off I came to the conclusion that because lavender was mentioned in almost every “keep calm” remedy that I needed to visit a lavender farm.

‘The lavender didn’t get rid of my anxiety but it was beautiful and for the hour I spent picking it I definitely thought less about anything scary and more about how to cut the right bits and survive the killer bees.

‘It took me away, even if just for a couple of hours, from the dread.’

There was an outpouring of support and thanks from midwives and fellow mums in response to the post.

‘Keep speaking up and speaking out, Stacey,’ one midwife wrote. ‘Times may be hard but your voice is lifting up those who feel unable to speak. Lots of midwifey love to you.’

‘I love your honesty,’ another added. ‘I suffered with poor mental health in the postnatal period and could never talk about it. I am now a student midwife and make sure I speak to all my women about mental health and how it is ok not to be ok, and how to seek support.’

‘Love your honesty so much,’ another mum agreed. ‘I have a three-week-old and it has exacerbated my anxiety terribly. I’ve had medication to cope with it now and not ashamed to say it. Motherhood is a crazy thing with hormones flying everywhere. You did great today.’

Hear, hear.
