Sheridan Smith has taken to Instagram to show off her recent weight loss, explaining to her followers that she has managed to shed an impressive two stone.

The 38-year-old actress has been starring as the Narrator in the West End production of Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dream Coat this year.
Uploading two side by side comparison snaps for the eyes of her 287 thousand followers, Sheridan explained one photo was from the beginning of rehearsals for the musical while the other was a recent pic.
Looking noticeably slimmer in the ‘after’ image, the Gavin and Stacey star wrote, “I’m not one for weight loss regimes as I think everyone should be comfortable in their own skin but comparing today’s pic to day 1 of rehearsals on @josephmusical🙀l have lost 2 stone!”
Congratulating her on her slimming journey, plenty of fans left comments of praise beneath the post.
One supporter wrote, “Your beautiful whatever Sheridan…You look so happy ❤️ all the best to you,” while a second added, “My favourite actress looking amazing as ever 💕,” and a third chipped in, “You look amazing in both pictures! Seeing you glowing and happy is the best form of gorgeous!!! 💖.”
Meanwhile, another commenter applauded her for her latest on stage performance, “Not surprised how hard you’ve been working!! Well done You were amazing in Joseph absolutely loved it 💖.”
After over three months in the smash hit Joseph, Sheridan said goodbye to her role at The London Palladium with a heartfelt social media post.
Sharing a snap shot of the show, she wrote, “1 show left with this amazing company, I’m gonna really miss @josephmusical thank you @thelondonpalladium for a great summer and to everyone who came to watch. Loved being part of such an incredible show! ❤️🌈🎉.”
