Prince Harry slammed by etiquette expert after red carpet appearance with wife Meghan Markle

Prince Harry has been slammed by an etiquette expert after he appeared at a red carpet appearance with wife Meghan Markle.

The new dad has been adjusting to parenthood ever since he welcomed little Archie into his life back in May, but he took a night off dad duties to attend the Lion King premiere with wife Meghan over the weekend.

The pair met a number of A-list celebrities, like Elton John and Beyoncé, while at the event – even receiving some adorable presents for his little one and a wise piece of advice.

While speaking to Mr and Mrs Knowles-Carter, they were told to ‘always find time for themselves’ as they raise ‘beautiful’ baby Archie.

However, his outfit raised a few eyebrows and it’s all down to one little detail – his bow tie.

According to etiquette expert William Hanson, Harry was wearing a fake bow tie and it didn’t go down well.

Taking to Twitter, he wrote: ‘Do we agree that Prince Harry’s bowtie this evening at #lionkingpremiere looks a bit ‘ready made’? 🤨

‘Golly. And as a close friend has just pointed out – correctly – that isn’t even an dress shirt!’

William continued to point out that he though singer Pharrel’s outfit was worse than Harry’s though, by his book.

‘But I’ll give Prince Harry this, compared with what Pharrel Williams is wearing this evening, Harry is basically Beau Brummell’, he wrote.

Some royal fans agreed with the expert, saying the Prince should make more of an effort on high-profile occasions.

One said: ‘Meghan should be checking him more.’

Another wrote: ‘Ready made bow tie, wrong shirt, no handkerchief… still it’s better than he usually looks.’

However, others didn’t seem too bothered about Harry’s outfit. One wrote: ‘It’s Prince Harry. Perfection whatever he wears.’
