Katie Price has sparked concern among her friends.
The TV personality announced her engagement last week when she appeared on Loose Women.
The daytime TV show regular revealed her news on the ITV hit, showing off her diamond engagement ring from fiancé Kris Boyson.
‘Kris bought the ring for that finger, so there you go, I’ve got love in my life,’ said the former model.
Speaking of her relationship with her current beau, she said: ‘The thing is, he puts me in my place. He’s strict with me and I’m not used to that.
‘He’s a good guy,’ he continued, ‘he’s so good with Harvey, Harvey is obsessed with him.
‘Things are actually going well.’
‘I’ve got the man,’ she added. ‘I’m happy.’
Discussing the pair’s future plans, the mum-of-five revealed that the duo want to add to their family and are thinking about trying IVF to have a baby together.
Revealing that she has had two miscarriages already during the couple’s relationship, she said: ‘I had a miscarriage last year and I’ve had one this year. I’ve had more in the past.
‘I went to the fertility clinic because I’m 41 now and I still want more kids.
‘I was so shocked with what he said to me because I still think I’m young. Reality hit home with some of the things he said.’
However, the former glamour model’s plans to extend her family have apparently sparked concern among her loved one.
A source told Closer, ‘Katie always needs to shock and to have drama or a new project to focus on. She can’t ever be alone, and always thinks a man and babies are the solution to every issue in her life.
‘But her friends are very worried she’s not in the right headspace to make such a huge decision and add even more stress to her life after a very challenging year. They fear it could destroy her by wrecking what little stability she has left.’
