She revealed her ‘horrid’ experience on TalkTV today
On her TalkTV show this afternoon, Vanessa told how “impossibly difficult” it was to make it home in a cab, and said she felt the after effects of the spiking for almost 24 hours.
Vanessa said: “I could sort of disingenuously ask you about this as if I don’t know, but I do know because it did happen to me.
“I was in a bar in Streatham in south London, and I’m not a drinker, but I agreed to have an alcoholic drink because I didn’t want to have that whole rigmarole where you say, ‘Oh, no, I’ll just have a water or a Diet Coke’ and everyone thinks you’re a party pooper.
“So I said, ‘Yes, please’, but had one tiny sip of I think it was rum and a Diet Coke, and I, exactly as my colleague Kate McCann described, I immediately felt desperately disorientated, kind of lost track of really where I was and who I was.

“I managed to get home, just as she said, with great difficulty, just to keep my thoughts collected, to get myself out of the door and into a cab was almost impossibly difficult, and I was still feeling the effects, I remember all the way through the night, all the way through the following day and into the following night.
“It was incredibly dramatic as a result of one extremely small sip of a drink. So I know what it’s like. It’s horrid.”
The 62-year-old didn’t reveal exactly when the incident took place.
She admits not reporting the spiking to police.

“I’m among the many, many women who didn’t even dream of reporting it to the police,” Vanessa said.
“I must admit, I didn’t even think of reporting it because I didn’t know who’d done it, was the thing.” More

Piers Morgan reveals he is going all in on digital to expand his global audience

PIERS Morgan is going all in on YouTube as he looks to expand his global audience even further. The Sun columnist has presented Piers Morgan Uncensored on TalkTV for nearly two years – interviewing a string of huge names including Cristiano Ronaldo and Rishi Sunak.

Piers is now planning to focus on his 2.3million YouTube subscribers – vowing to provide more explosive interviews with bigger names on a digital platform instead.
He said sticking to a rigorous TV schedule has been an “increasingly unnecessary straitjacket” as his show is sometimes overshadowed by breaking news.
Piers highlighted his interview with the Prime Minister, which was viewed by hundreds of thousands of people on YouTube when it dropped at 2pm on Monday.
The scheduled TalkTV time of 8pm meant the agenda-setting political chat would have been overtaken by King Charles’ cancer announcement.

This led Piers to record a new show on the royals, which in itself garnered over a million views on YouTube.
Piers also pointed out the success of his bombshell Ronaldo interview, which has received 6million views online since November – while 350,000 watched it on TalkTV.
Piers explained: “Piers Morgan Uncensored is the fastest-growing news/opinion/current affairs show in the world, but the vast majority of our audience is on our YouTube channel which has seen explosive growth in the past year with 2.3 million subscribers and many millions of views for our big interviews and debates.
“This, in turn, has generated increasingly strong revenue, making the business case for this digital-first pivot not just compelling but imperative.

“It’s clear there’s a huge global demand for the content we’re making, but the commitment to a daily show at a fixed schedule, with all the editing and time sensitivities that involves, has been an increasingly unnecessary straitjacket.
“It’s become demonstrably obvious that people want to watch PMU on myriad digital platforms at a time of their choosing, and we have an increasingly strong digital firepower with which to promote and further disseminate our stuff across the globe, from my own 8.7 million Twitter (X) followers and 2.1 million Instagram followers to PMU’s 1.7million TikTok followers.”
Explosive moment Piers calls out Andrew Tate over TV star’s bikini pic
Piers reflected on his successful talk show as having a “start-up mentality” as he vowed the change-up would allow for longer interviews with even bigger guests.
Some of these massive chats will shown on TalkTV as the channel juggles its schedule to replace the show.
Piers vowed: “PMU has always had a start-up mentality and this decision to now take ourselves fully digital reflects the reality of where our audience is and where we need to be singularly focused.
“It will make perfect sense to anyone who understands the way modern media – especially TV – is going, and no sense to dinosaurs stuck in their blinkered old ways.
“One thing won’t change though: I’ll keep it uncensored!”
Piers Morgan Uncensored was the sixth biggest English-language news channel on YouTube ranked by average number of views in October.
The channel’s average views is 420,000, which dwarfs the BBC News’ 255,000.
Scott Taunton, EVP President of Broadcasting, News UK, said:“Piers Morgan Uncensored’s newsmaking interviews and debates are attracting millions of views online.
“It is the right decision for PMU to go digital-first, freeing him from a scheduled show so he can create the right content to grow his already huge global online audience.
“More and more, audiences are consuming video news and opinion online through their phones and this evolution is set to continue. It’s also where the advertising revenues are.

Kevin Spacey recorded first movie since acquittal for sex crimes separately from rest of the cast, director tells TalkTV

THE director of Kevin Spacey’s first movie since being acquitted of sex crimes opened up to TalkTV’s Jeremy Kyle and Nicola Thorp.Gene Fallazie, whose film Control premieres in London tonight, was asked how he ensures inappropriate behaviour doesn’t happen on set.

He explained that Kevin, who was cast for the film before the outcome of his UK court case was known, appears as a voice in the movie and recorded separately from the other cast.
The House Of Cards actor, 64, was cleared of all charges in his sexual assault trial in London earlier this year.
Gene said there is a “huge wave of positivity” for the actor ahead of his return to the big screen.
Speaking to hosts Jeremy and Nicola on Talk Today about how Spacey’s court case impacted the making of the film, he explained: “It’s been a whole rollercoaster of a process really.

“Very different to the way a regular film would normally be made because we’ve had to take into account all of these different situations and opinions to a point as well so it’s been challenging, but at the end of the day we’ve just tried to treat it as we would, it’s a film that we’ve got to get made and ready for release.”
Gene then spoke about his decision to cast Kevin before they knew the outcome of the court cases.
He said: “He had already been acquitted in the US at this point.
“His UK trial was still outstanding, but ultimately he hadn’t been proven guilty of anything ever at that point, so for me it was a case of taking the facts as we saw them at the time – he had been acquitted in the US and everything his team were giving us and their expectations of how the trial was going to go and trying to make an assessed decision.”

Last month Kevin made an emotional comeback to the stage – almost seven years after he last appeared in a theatre.
Discussing his movie comeback, Gene told viewers: “For the most part, we are seeing a huge wave of positivity both from his fan base and from film fans  in general.
“There are those quarters who will have always made their mind up no matter what the outcome was going to be and nothing would ever change their mind on that and that’s entirely their right to do that.”
The hosts then quizzed the director on how he plans to ensure that inappropriate behaviour does not happen on set.
He responded: “Trying to be as aware as possible, I think in the past there was an element of turning a blind eye and things like that.
“Now I think with everyone being a bit more open and knowing you can talk about it and be taken seriously I think that’s a big element of it.
“I think in this instance, Kevin’s role was recorded separately so we kept that side of things completely separate from the rest of main unit filming.”
It comes after Spacey sobbed in the dock after being cleared of sexually assaulting four men.
Jurors returned not guilty verdicts for nine offences relating to when he was artistic director of the Old Vic in London.
The Oscar-winning star had been branded a “sexual bully” for allegedly attacking the men in charges dating back 22 years.
He had previously broken down at Southwark Crown Court and said: “I lost everything”.
Jurors took 12 hours and 26 minutes to return the not guilty verdict and Spacey mouthed “thank you” to them before they left the courtroom in July.
He had always denied all charges and speaking outside court he said he had been “humbled”.
Kevin told reporters: “I imagine that many of you can understand that there is a lot for me to process after what has just happened today.
“But I would like to say that I am enormously grateful to the jury for having taken the time to examine all of the evidence and all of the facts carefully before they reached their decision and I am humbled by the outcome today.

“I also want to thank the staff inside this courthouse, the security and all those who took care of us every single day, my legal team Evan and Lucy for being here every day, and that’s all I have to say for the moment. Thank you very much.”
