      Nineties music star cancels gigs after ‘collapsing in a pool of blood’ and being rushed to hospital for urgent surgery

Your chest feels like someone is sitting on your chest holding a 200kg weight and your head feels like it’s spinning out of control as you struggle to remain conscious.”In my case, I completely blacked out, falling onto a glass ornament from a standing position, smashing the coffee table with my face as I collapsed into a pool of blood and broken shards, penetrating both cheeks, my nose and the area just beneath my eyes. “Later a plastic surgeon had to carefully remove pieces of glass from my face with tweezers after four injections to my face.”Nitin said he would be cancelling his gig in Australia’s WOMADelaide tour this month and rescheduling it for next year.But the star said he would be returning for his UK Identity Tour in April, as he visits Glasgow, Birmingham, Brighton and London.He added: “I’m ok… and (quick plug) we’ll still be touring the UK in April (Glasgow, Birmingham, Brighton and London between the 7-11 Obviously we had to defer playing WOMADelaide until next year.”We also have to defer my performance with The Hallé on May 4th to later in the year as that will be soon after my third heart operation.”On a positive, I’m also proud to say I (plug 2) produced three tracks on the current U.K. number one album of Rod Stewart and Jools Holland. Ok. Self promotion over.”On a serious note, Nitin urged people to seek medical advice if they were worried about their heart. He went on: “The point is there has been an alarming rise in fatalities from heart disease recently.. particularly amongst British Asians. So… if you are Asian or, to be honest, in any vulnerable group… get your heart health checked out. It could save your life. You might not see something like this coming… I didn’t.”The musician has recorded multiple albums, film soundtracks and compilations, encompassing over 70 film and TV scores.       Kerry Katona’s changing face after ‘Elephant Man’ facial left her fearing for life & nose ‘collapsed’ from cocaine hell

      KERRY Katona has never been one to shy away from the odd nip and tuck – and is refreshingly honest about her procedures.Now the former Atomic Kitten star, 43, has revealed she will go under the knife once again for a nose job.

      With characteristic openness she told readers of her OK! column she needed an eight hour op to repair damage caused by years of cocaine use during her marriage to Mark Croft, from 2007 to 2011.
      She wrote: “I’m waiting for a date from Pall Mall for the reconstructive surgery I need for my nose, due to past cocaine abuse.
      “They’re going to use a piece of bone from my rib to repair it. Hopefully, that will be any day now.”
      The mum-of-five now, who now rakes in the cash from her OnlyFans account, also revealed doctors told her her nose was “collapsing” during a consultation for an eye lift, which she underwent in January.

      First cut
      Kerry rose to fame as part of girl group Atomic Kitten, in 1998, but she quit two years later after falling pregnant with her first child, Molly, with Westlife star Brian McFadden.
      Four week’s later the group’s remixed single, Whole Again, became a smash hit.
      Kerry, who went on to have four more kids, has struggled with drug addiction and alcohol abuse in the past.

      In 2010 she also revealed she had tried to turn back time with some facial tweaks.

      She wrote: “I got some Botox on my forehead, then I had fillers in my cheeks and stuff in my upper lip to make my lip look thicker.”

      Vampire reaction
      Kerry was bitten by the vampire facial bug in 2013, and feared she would die after a shocking reaction to the procedure, popularised by Kim Kardashian.
      The treatment, which involves injections of your own blood, was advertised as a way to make skin tighter and more youthful.
      But after the £600 injections, Kerry’s face blew up and she was left bruised and puffy.
      She said the facial left her looking “like the Elephant Man”, telling the Mirror: “I didn’t want to fall asleep because I was scared I would never wake up!”

      Package deal row
      In 2019 Kerry sparked outrage by endorsing a ‘Katona Package’ at a London clinic offering “2ml face filler and one area fat dissolving” for £699.
      She said she was backing the promotion after receiving “so many positive and kind comments” about her own looks after treatment.  
      One furious fan wrote she should be “promoting self-worth, not plastic surgery deals,” adding: “How about an exercise and healthy eating ad instead?”

      40th birthday treat-ment
      When the mum-of-five approached her 40th in 2019, she celebrated with fillers and fat-dissolving injections in her chin to “enhance my natural beauty”.
      She said: “I’m 40 next year and just had a full M.O.T on me face!!! And I’m loving the results… thank you ladies [sic].”
      Kerry added she was gearing up to be trolled over the makeover, which cost an estimated £600, but added it was “no different to wearing heavy make-up if done properly”.

      In the same week she showed off her lip fillers, joking she “looked like Mick Jagger”.
      She added: “Only a tiny, tiny, tiny bit of filler, but I love it.
      “I had them done a year and a half ago at the Belle Aesthetic Clinic and when they gave me the opportunity to re-do them, I jumped at the chance.”

      Two years later Kerry joked she’d got a “brand new face” after a procedure called CoolSculpting, which freezes fat cells under the skin and destroys them.
      She had some fat removed from her chin and Botox injections.
      Once again on the defensive, she told her Instagram followers: “I am a 41-year-old woman to be fair, I’m at the right age to get tweaks and do stuff like that.
      “When people say you’re not a good role model – I’m 41!
      “You get to a certain age and you want to look… It’s like when you get your car fixed, you want fine-tuning.”

      In 2023, the TV star revealed a tighter jawline after treating herself to a “non-invasive facelift”.
      She showed off before and after pics with the caption: “So b****y impressed!! Had so many messages from all you guys asking what I’ve had done!!
      “If you want to embrace your own beauty… less is more, and non surgical treatments like the transformations facelift use only non invasive, medical doctor only facial machines, with no downtime, no surgery and long lasting results.”
      She added: “I honestly get so scared when it comes to messing with my face as many can go completely over the top with it, and I’m at an age when I feel it’s ok to have tweaks done here and there, and I am so blown away by the results of this!”

      Kerry’s most recent surgery was a much more invasive eye lift and brow lift in January, at a cost of over £3,000.
      Writing two months before in her OK! column, she said: “I’ve come to the conclusion I’m going to get an eye lift.
      “They’re so heavy they’re hanging over my eyes. Why not, I’m 43, I’m entitled.”
      She admitted she was anxious about going under the knife once more, adding: “I’m s******g myself. I’m really nervous, but I’m looking forward to having it done.
      “I’m going to Pall Mall Medical and they’ve been really great, so it’s exciting. I think the recovery period is 10 days and I won’t be able to drive during that time.”
      She was pictured a few days after the op outside the clinic, and seemed unable to open her eyes.
      Earlier this month she showed off the results of the work – and her three stone weight loss – on a holiday with fiancé Ryan Mahoney in Spain.

      ‘Collapsing nose’
      During the consultation for the eye lift she was told her nose was “collapsing” – so she’s now opted to go under the knife again.
      She updated fans in a video on her social media, saying: “We’re all very aware that I’ve done drugs in the past, 15 years ago now, and [Pall Mall’s Doctor Raghavan] said to me, ‘Have you ever had a nose job?’ I said ‘no’ and then he went, ‘Your nose is collapsing’.”
      She said she had turned down the offer of a reconstruction years before because she wanted the damage as “a reminder never to touch [drugs] again”.
      But she burst into tears at the new advice “because it’s like a massive 360 to where I was to where I am now”.

      “We all make mistakes, you know, and I think this is a reward just to me to get it fixed, but I’m scared.”

      Simon Cowell has been very honest when it comes to the cosmetic surgery he has had.
      The Britain’s Got Talent star has previously admitted that he underwent a £2,000 treatment dubbed as a 21st century facelift in 2018.

      He told The Sun: “There was a phase where everyone was having their faces pumped full of this and the other.
      “I saw a picture of me from ‘before’ the other day and didn’t recognise it as me first of all.”
      However, in April 2022 the TV star decided to stop using injectables when his son Eric was “in hysterics” at his face.
      “Enough was enough,” Simon insisted.
      “There is no filler in my face at all now. Zero.”

      Drummer Tommy Lee joked how it was “show and tell” time with the brutle series of images showing the operation needed to his left hand.
      Not for the faint-hearted, they showcased both the deep incision made during the operation and exposed tendons as well as the pattern of stitches travelling down his fourth finger to his palm afterwards.
      Tommy, who also founded rap metal band Methods Of Mayhem, joked in his caption: “Hope this doesn’t wreck your lunch.”

      Steve Wright ‘had secret heart surgery’ and was ‘more ill than he’d been letting on’ before death

      Wright’s close friend Mark Wells revealed the information in the Behind The Scenes with Colin Edmonds podcast.
      In the wide-ranging tribute, Wells opened up on Steve’s health battles, including his heart bypass surgery.
      Wells said: “He had a bypass operation which had gone well but I think he had been more ill than he had been letting on to that point. 
      “The recovery from that had gone pretty well.

      TV executive Wells had been pals with the legendary DJ since the Nineties.
      He added: “He never ate properly. Every meal I had with him was an unhealthy one. He didn’t drink much but he certainly used to smoke cigars.
      “And we would often walk around the block smoking cigars back in the day. I think in time that took its toll.

      “But this is what Steve said to me last Friday (9/2 in this instance)
      “He said you’ll never guess what happened this week. He said ‘I got a call from Radio 2, and they very quietly asked me how I would feel about going back to do afternoons.’
      “I said ‘Oh my God, what do you think of that?’
      “Well, he thought he was funny as well. And he said, ‘I don’t know whether you should ever go back in life though, do you?’
      “And then we talked about something else and moved on.”

      STEVE Wright went from being a bullied schoolboy cruelly dubbed ‘Big Nose’ to a BBC radio legend.
      Wright was born in Greenwich, London and attended Eastwood High School in Southend-on-Sea, Essex.
      It was there that he was cruelly nicknamed Big Nose and Concorde.
      His first job after leaving school was in marine insurance but after three years he realised it wasn’t for him.
      It was then that Wright left to become a local newspaper reporter.
      This led him to BBC, as a record librarian, which then went on to his own shows – and the rest was history.
      But in 2022 he announced he was stepping back from his Afternoon show after more than two decades.
      He said at the time: “Before we start the show proper, if I may, I’d just like to say thank you ever so much for all the messages that have come in, over the weekend after I announced on Friday on the afternoon that we are leaving the afternoon show.”
      The axing saw him take another step towards his Sunday Love Songs show – which he last appeared on just days ago.

      However, a spokesman for the BBC explained that further shows on Radio 2 were never proposed.
      They told us: “This isn’t right. We spoke to Steve alongside other presenters about our plans for the new Radio 2 DAB+ extension, which we announced last week, including simulcasting his Sunday Love Songs on the station and agreed to discuss further content ideas in due course. There was no mention of afternoons or Radio 2.”
      Discussing the impact of his cull, Wells said: “Steve was extremely surprised that it happened.
      “It came as a bolt from the blue and that’s why he couldn’t understand it.
      “He felt that the show was still extremely popular and there was no drop in the number of listeners he was reaching.
      “He felt creatively and editorially, and from a production point of view, the show was still hot.”
      He added: “I think Steve was just shocked in the way it was handled, which I think was brutal, but he was determined publicly to appear very stoical about it, which is why he said what he said at the time, ‘Sometimes they want you, sometimes they don’t’.
      “Steve loved and hated the BBC and equal measure is the truth of it.
      “He loved the organisation and what it stood for. 
      “He hated the bureaucracy and nonsense he had to put up with – the interfering.”

      Steve’s son Tom told The Sun on Sunday he flew from Los Angeles to London to care for his dad, due to receive an MBE awarded in the New Year’s Honours list.
      The ex-club promoter said he got to know his father “in a way he never had” during the DJ’s final months.
      In an emotional post on Instagram, Tom added: “God rest your soul Dad, and thank you for all your for all the kind words from all the lives that he touched and people that loved him.
      “It’s gonna be an intense few days, so catching up and hearing from old friends and new would mean more than anything else right now too…
      “Rough as it may be, I thank the Gods I’m sober, as this would have straight up killed me even a couple of years ago after losing Mum over the pandemic in the same way without getting to see him before he passed after flying back to take care of the old blighter.
      “Still, I will cherish every memory we made, and it’s not like I don’t have a few shows to be working through whenever I miss his voice, though tears me up too much now to consider…

      “But it means the world hearing from so many beloved friends of his and mine and I only hope to make him proud; and build on his legacy with kindness and love anyways I can!

      Fully recovered from the painful process – which left her face bruised and blood-soaked – Kerry cut a stylish figure as she celebrated daughter Lilly-Sue’s 21st birthday.
      She donned a striking silver jumpsuit with a plunging neckline and styled her blonde hair into loose curls.
      Yet it was the Eternal Flame singer’s new face that commanded all the attention.
      She flashed a smile to the camera with her pepped-up peepers looking sharp and snatched.

      She was joined by the rest of her kids and partner Ryan Mahoney.
      Kerry shares Lilly-Sue, who dazzled in a green sequin dress, with ex Bryan McFadden.
      Her daughters DJ and Heidi also joined her on the night out.
      Earlier in the day, Kerry’s Instagram fans couldn’t believe her daughter’s real age.

      Meanwhile, Kerry hasn’t been shy in showing off her glam new look, posing for a selfie just 10 days after her eyelid surgery.
      Ahead of the surgery she told fans: “Right so I’ve come to the conclusion I’m going to get an eye lift. I am, watch this.
      “They’re so heavy they’re hanging over my eyes. Why not, I’m 43, I’m entitled.”
      She told new! magazine: “When I was coming out of surgery I didn’t know what I was doing and rubbed my eye and scratched the cornea.
      “I’ve been crying all day because of the pain.
      “I’ve scratched it all on the nerve endings, which my doctor said is ‘almost more painful than childbirth’ when that happens – and it has been. I’ve been complaining so much.”
      Meanwhile, she has been undergoing a huge image re-vamp and recently showed off her four stone weight loss.

      Yet Katie – who is no stranger to cosmetic surgery – hadn’t finished there.
      After wowing fans with the results of her bum lift in a lace thong earlier this month, she is headed back to the treatment table.
      In her latest Instagram Stories video, which saw the star sport a neon vest and hot pink manicure, the mum-of-five told the camera: “So I have just had my lips done with Ellie, love it.
      “And next week I am getting my bum done again.”

      She flashed a peace sign to the camera as she cheered: “Woooh!” before finishing off with a cheesy grin.
      Just last week, Katie filmed her glutes being wobbled as part of the latest treatments on her derriere.
      A white plaster was seen tagged onto the side of her left glute and, in her caption at the time, Katie wrote: “Can’t wait to get more treatments.”
      Earlier this year, Katie said her dark-coloured slimming leggings had given her a natural “bum lift.”

      Back in 2021, she showcased the results of her new face and bum after surgery.
      Three years ago, Katie jetted to Turkey where she underwent full body liposuction, eye and lip lifts, liposuction under her chin and had fat injected into her bum.
      At the time, Katie admitted her fears that she’d been left looking like a monster after seeing the results for the first time.
      She exclusively told us: “Honestly, I’ve gone to hell and back, it was horrific — ‘Oh my God I look like a monster out of a horror movie’.
      “I just thought, ‘This is it, I’m going to die. I was terrified of looking like a freak, like that Bride of Wildenstein or a fake doll.
      “I’ve woken up with holes and stitches all over my body.
      “I look like I’ve got cat’s whiskers coming out of my nose and eyes. But I just want the old Katie back!”
      Yet it didn’t seem to stop the star and, back in October, she opted for £1.5K fillers injected into her bum.
