Why does Geri Horner only wear white?
Geri has opened up about why she decided to switch up her style to an all-white wardrobe.
As someone with an intense schedule, a simple colour palette has helped her make outfit choices quickly.
Speaking to The Sun in early 2021, she said: “Everything becomes really simple. It’s like wearing a school uniform as an adult.
“It matches with everything and I literally don’t have to think in the mornings.

What did Geri Horner wear before?
Geri’s white wardrobe is worlds away from her outfit choices in the nineties.
Gone are the days when she would opt for skimpy tops, short dresses and revealing shorts.
The singer enjoyed her diverse outfit choices while she was in the Spice Girls up until she left in 1998.
Her famous Union Jack dress that she wore to the Brit Awards in 1997 was named the most iconic outfit of the nineties and noughties by Nasty Gal in 2022.

How 71 year-old supermodel Marie Helvin bounced back from cancer for her most sizzling lingerie shoot ever

AGE before beauty is not a maxim you can often apply to the world of fashion – so it’s refreshing to see Marie Helvin prove that ageing can be very beautiful indeed. The supermodel, 71, looks sensational in a new campaign for British lingerie brand Bluebella, in provocative outfits that prudes will no doubt deem decidedly non age-appropriate.

The defiant star, a 12-time Vogue cover girl, said: ‘I’m not ready to retire yet’Credit: Bluebella
But why shouldn’t a woman in her eighth decade embrace her sexy side and celebrate her body? Especially when that body has been through so much — in Marie’s case, a mastectomy in 2022 as treatment for breast cancer.
The defiant star, a 12-time Vogue cover girl, said: “I’m not ready to retire yet. Who says a woman can’t model lingerie in her 70s? I refuse to be defined and discriminated against because of my age.
“It makes me so angry that women are ignored and become invisible after 60. Marketing execs and brands are fixated on women in their 20s and 30s, and ignore women past that age. This has got to stop.”
She’s got a point. Scroll through the lingerie catalogue of any high street shop and you will be confronted with the taut abs and perky breasts of fresh-faced models.

Meanwhile, celebs such as Rihanna, 35, Kim Kardashian, 43, and even Maura Higgins, 33, are making multimillions from stripping down to their smalls.
Anyone would think getting older is something to be ashamed of rather than a privilege to be embraced.
Even good old M&S, where one in three British women buy their bras, most famously models its undies on the incredibly youthful Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, 36 — who bears little resemblance to their average customer.
The brand launched a bold campaign last year featuring plus-size Nicola Griffin, 63, sadly now nowhere to be seen.

Speaking of negative comments online, Nicola said: “They feel, I presume, that only younger women with six-packs and glowing skin have a right to be semi-naked.
“Everyone else like me with a normal ageing body should be out of sight and, presumably, out of mind.”
So all hail the likes of Marie and Nicola, refusing to shuffle off quietly into a world of elasticated waists and boring bras.
See also Kim Cattrall, 67, who oozed sex appeal as she modelled shapewear for Skims, and Lauren Hutton who, at 73, outshone younger stars in 2017 stripping off for Calvin Klein.
They prove what most older women already know — there’s nothing sexier than the confidence you get with age and a life well lived.

Did Kate Middleton participate in a fashion show?
The short answer is, yes, Kate Middleton made her modelling debut in a charity fashion show in 2003.
The moment went down in history as Kate walked the runway in a sheer mesh black dress which is worlds away to what a royal would usually be seen in.
Kate modelled the dress which consisted of a strapless design which she wore black underwear underneath.
It’s been said that this moment was when Prince William started to see Kate in a romantic light as he watched her in the fashion show.

Fellow student Charlotte Todd designed the dress and went on to tell People magazine: “Everyone says that the fashion show was when the romance started, so a small part of me will always be part of royal history. It’s madness!”
How did Kate Middleton’s and Prince William’s relationship progress after the fashion show?
Kate and William had already been living together, with other friends, since October 2002.
They first met in 2001 at St Andrew’s university and quickly became friends.
But, it seems that after the sheer dress incident, the pair turned things up a notch.

Not too long after the fashion show in 2003, Kate and Will went on to move out into their own place together.
It was the following year in 2004 that the world learned about the furture King and Queen’s romance.
They had managed to keep their romance under wraps for more than a year but on April 1, 2004, their relationship became world news.
They were rumbled when they were both spotted together on the ski slopes at Klosters Ski Resort in Switzerland.
Who plays Kate Middleton in the Crown?
Meg Bellamy stars as Kate Middleton in the sixth series of Netflix hit The Crown .
The actress was born in Leeds and her family moved to Berkshire when she was just five.
Meg managed to land herself the iconic role due to her talent as well as her uncanny similar looks to the Princess of Wales.
She stars alongside actor Ed McVey, who plays Prince William.
It seems that Meg already had a connection to the royal as she grew up in Wokingham, just a few miles from Kate in Royal Berkshire.
Landing the role in The Crown was Meg’s big break as she worked at Legoland which she said was “the best job ever”.
Speaking to The Telegraph she revealed: “I had left school and I was working at Legoland, which was the best job ever.
“I didn’t have an agent at the time so I was just doing everything I could on my own, self-submitting for student films and shorts.”
Meg then talked about how she got the job for The Crown as she said: “In April last year the opportunity in The Crown popped up on my Twitter, and at the same time my neighbour sent it to me and told me that I should go for it.
“She’d just seen it and she thought I looked like Kate.”
The Crown is Meg’s debut professional role, with her only other acting credit being for a short film called The Prince of Savile Row, released in 2021.

I’ll never be too old for my smokin hot pants – I’ll be like Dolly Parton & wearing them in my 70s, says Caprice, 52

I’M 52 and NEVER giving up my hot pants. It may come as a shock that they are back in fashion, topping a recent fashion report and being worn by stars on the red carpet.

But this does definitely not surprise me.
I’ve been wearing teeny tiny shorts for decades and don’t plan on stopping any time soon.
Catch me at the gym or out and about in a pair of my favourite denim Daisy Dukes — whatever the weather, they make me feel sexy.
Some people are cautious about getting their pins out but if you’ve got it, why not flaunt it?

I’m 52 but I’ll be following in Dolly Parton’s footsteps and donning my itsy bitsy hot pants in my seventies.
The singing legend, who is 77, joined the Dallas Cowboys in a pair of white mini shorts just last week.
    She looked amazing.
Why should anyone stop wearing an item they love just because they’re a little bit more on the mature side?

Tiny shorts were dubbed HOT pants back in the Fifties.
Marilyn Monroe was one of the first stars to be seen in them.
Since then there have been some iconic tiny shorts moments — think Kylie Minogue, Jessica Simpson and even the future queen Kate.
But this time, these smalls are skimpier than ever.
After slobbing around in tracksuits for two years during Covid, it makes perfect sense to me that sales of hot pants are up 133 per cent this year.
“But it’s freezing!” I hear you baulk.
Follow the celebs and add an extra layer with sheer tights.
Always avoid wearing them too tight — no one wants to see your camel toe — and don’t get both the “babs” and legs out, even though I’ve done it 500 times over.
But, I’m telling you, it looks cheap.
Every time I do it, I cringe back at myself.
What you wear sometimes is all about confidence, and I feel more confident now than I did in my twenties.
I love parading around in my skimpy shorts, they make me feel free and empowered.
At the end of the day, it’s only like wearing a bikini on the beach.
