Arnold Schwarzenegger became a household nameCredit: GettyThe icon’s joked he’s even more like his on-screen persona after a fourth heart op“Last Monday, I had surgery to become a little bit more of a machine: I got a pacemaker,” he revealed on his Arnold’s Pump Club podcast.Director James Cameron based the 1984 sci-fi film on a dream he had. Living out of his car at the time, he sold the script for just $1 on the condition he would be allowed to direct it.Costing just £5m to make, expectations for the film were low, but it topped the US box office for two weeks, grossing £60m.READ MORE IN FEATURESThe multi-million dollar franchise, with sequels, a TV series, comic books, novels and video games made household names out of its stars, including Arnie and Linda Hamilton. So where are the original cast now?Arnold SchwarzeneggerArnie’s Terminator coined the famous catchphrase “I’ll Be Back” – but he has rarely been far away from the spotlight or controversy in the 40 years since. The bodybuilder-turned-actor starred in all but one of the Terminator movies and went on to become Republican Governor of California from 2003-2011, and was named as one of Time’s 100 most influential people in the world in 2004 and 2007.Most read in CelebrityHe earned just £60,000 for his role in the first movie and only spoke 17 lines but the film turned him into one of the most famous action heroes of all time and helped spawn his political career.During the former Mr Universe’s initial election campaign for Governor, allegations of sexual and personal misconduct were raised against Schwarzenegger , and he later admitted he had “behaved badly sometimes” and apologised. He married journalist Maria Shriver, niece of former President John F Kennedy, in 1986 and the couple had four children together. But they split after 25 years in 2011 and it was revealed that Schwarzenegger had fathered a child, Joseph, with household staff member Patty Baena 14 years earlier. He was born just five days after Shriver gave birth to the couple’s youngest child.Antiques Roadshow guest fights back tears as she learns truth about dad’s ‘private’ pictures of Arnold Schwarzenegger Linda HamiltonLinda was married to director James CameronThe star, pictured in T2, became a pin upCredit: TriStarHamilton played troubled waitress Sarah Connor in the sci-fi franchise. But her relationship with the film’s director James Cameron was to become even stranger than fiction. The couple fell for each other around the time of Terminator 2: Judgment Day in 1991, and their daughter Josephine was born two years later. But the relationship hit a rocky patch while he was filming Titanic, and they were on a break when he started dating actress Suzy Amis who had a role in the film.Cameron then left Amis to go back to Hamilton and the pair married in 1997, only to divorce in 1999, leaving Cameron free to marry Amis in 2000.Speaking about her marriage in 2010, Hamilton explained: “While he was making Titanic, Suzy was the gargoyle on the end of my bed, waiting to swoop in,” she said. “Now I’m the gargoyle on her bed because for Jim, the one who doesn’t end up with him is always the one he wants. I’m the one who got away, and she has to live with that.”In 2019, she revealed she had been celibate for 15 years, telling People: “One loses track because it just doesn’t matter — or at least it doesn’t matter to me. I have a very romantic relationship with my world every day and the people who are in it.” She also revealed she was happy to step away from the limelight after a stint on the TV show Chuck ended in 2012.“I woke up one day and I was like, ‘Well, here I am in my beautiful mansion and my kids aren’t here, my agents aren’t calling,” she said, adding. “I love my alone time like no one you’ve ever met.”She returned to role of Sarah Connor in 2019, for T4. Now 67, she is about to join the cast of the final season of cult Netflix series Stranger Things. While her ex-husband Cameron is working on a reboot of the Terminator franchise, Hamilton told Business Insider: “I’m done. I’m done. I have nothing more to say. The story’s been told, and it’s been done to death.”Edward FurlongEdward Furlong is unrecognisable in this recent pictureThe child star was just 13 when he shot to fame as John Connor in Terminator 2: Judgment Day.He was a complete unknown who was spotted by casting director Mali Finn on a visit to Pasadena Boys and Girls Club.He became a teen heart-throb overnight, but it was during filming that he first met married 26-year-old Jacqueline Domac who was his stand-in and then tutor. The pair later started a relationship, moved in together and Domac filed for divorce, although they maintained that the relationship was not sexual whilst Furlong was underage. They stayed together until 1998, when Furlong was 21, and Domac later accused him of domestic abuse.Furlong starred in several films during the late 90s and 2000s but was ditched from the third Terminator movie after bosses discovered his drug abuse. He has had several stints in rehab over the years and his drug and alcohol abuse have blighted his relationships. He married actress Rachael Bella in 2006 and they had a son later that year. She filed for divorce in 2009, and in 2012 alleged in court documents that their six-year-old son had tested positive for cocaine, with a  judge ruling Furlong’s parental visits had to be supervised. In January 2013, he was arrested for domestic battery against his then-girlfriend, Dawson’s Creek star Monica Keena, and sentenced to 180 days in jail.He was arrested again in 2017 for being under the influence of an illicit substance while trying to check into a hotel. Furlong was given a suspended sentence of 36 months on probation, provided he completed a six-month drug rehab. Now aged 46, he’s been sober ever since and he and Keena appear to have rekindled their friendship after being spotted out shopping together.Kristanna LokenKristina had to gain 15ibs of muscles for the roleThe producers of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines reportedly auditioned 10,000 actresses before casting former model Kristanna Loken as the Terminatrix. She was just 23 years old and followed a strict diet and training programme before filming to gain 15lb of muscle and strip her body fat to that of an Olympic athlete. After Terminator she went on to star in PainkillerJane and married her co-star Noah Danby in 2008, but they split a year later and Loken said she was dating a woman. The actress – who was previously spotted smooching with Pink at the 2003 World Music Awards – had been open about her bi-sexuality in the past, saying: “I have dated and have had sex with men and women and have to say that the relationships I have had with certain women have been much more fulfilling, sexually and emotionally, than those with certain men.”Now aged 44, she has most recently been filming a thriller Dark Night of the Soul, playing a renowned scientist who holds the key to a cure for a prehistoric bacteria ravaging the world.Claire DanesClaire Danes has gone on to a stellar careerChild star Danes had already made 13 films in five years by the time she put her acting career on hold aged 19 to attend Yale University. She dropped out after two years to resume her acting career and was cast in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines as Kate Connor. From 2011 to 2020, she starred as Carrie Mathieson in Homeland winning two Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globes for best actress in a drama series.Married to actor Hugh Dancy, the couple have three children. I was not an ’80s star. Bruce Willis was an ‘80s star. Tom Cruise was an ’80s star. Schwarzenegger and Stallone. Mel Gibson. Those guys were making $20 million (£16million). I never even got $1 million. I kind of liked it that way.”Despite his career success, Biehn was struggling with alcoholism. In 2004, a Russian production company sued Biehn for his drunken behaviour on the set of The American. The lawsuit stated that the star was “excessively intoxicated, his speech slurred and erratic, and he had trouble walking.” Now sober, Biehn has reflected: “Drinking really has caused a lot of problems in my life. I’ve not only hurt myself, but I’ve hurt the people I care most about – my family, my parents, my children have all been affected by my alcoholism.”He has five children from his three marriages and says he had always wanted to put his family first, turning down roles that meant he would be away from home for long periods of time. Now aged 67, he has most recently been seen in the Star Wars TV series The Mandalorian and in the horror series The Walking Dead.Nick StahlNick Stahl played the young John Connor in T3: Rise of the MachinesAfter playing the young John Connor in T3: The Rise of the Machines, in 2003, Nick Stahl starred in a string of acclaimed movies including Twist, in which he played the Artful Dodger, and the 2005 hit Sin City. But in May 2012 Rose Murphy, his wife of three years and mum to daughter Marlo, now 13, reported him missing and it was later reported the actor had checked into rehab.A year later he was arrested in Los Angeles for alleged possession of methamphetamine. He turned his back on Hollywood and moved to Texas to beat his addiction, returning to acting in 2019, to film The Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson. He has since starred in the TV series Let the Right One In and Tiny Beautiful Things. Paul WinfieldPaul Winfield sadly died in 2004Already an Oscar nominated actor for the 1972 movie Sounder, Paul Winfiled took on the role of police lieutenant Ed Traxler in The Terminator. He went on to star in Mars Attacks! Sick murder plot, kidnap hell & horror fire that gutted £12m pad… inside Duffy’s traumatic life as singer breaks silence

DUFFY was considered one of Britain’s most promising stars in the late Noughties – but within a matter of years, she had vanished from the limelight for good.At the height of her fame, the Welsh vocalist had scooped a Grammy, three Brits and an Ivor Novello Award before announcing her hiatus back in 2011.Duffy in 2009 was one of the UK’s most promising starsCredit: ReutersThe Welsh singer won three out of four Brit Award nominations in 2009Credit: PA:Press AssociationThe Mercy singer, who carved out a reported £4million fortune from her career, kept silent for years about the reason for her departure until 2020.On Instagram, she wrote: “The truth is, and please trust me I am OK and safe now, I was raped and drugged and held captive over some days. Of course, I survived.”Duffy would later reveal she had been drugged at a restaurant on her birthday before being taken to another country, where she suffered a terrifying four-week ordeal. “Rape is like living murder. You are alive but dead,” Duffy explained. “All I can say is it took an extremely long time, sometimes feeling never-ending, to reclaim the shattered pieces of me.”READ MORE ON SHOWBIZMessages of support flooded in for the singer, who has continued to keep a low profile until yesterday, when she shared an inspirational video online. The animated clip featured quotes from a 2017 self-help book including “happiness was never about your job” and “happiness is always about being kinder to yourself”.Now, as the singer breaks her silence online, we look back at the traumatic difficulties she has overcome.Heartbreaking splitThe singer was born Aimee Ann Duffy and grew up in the tiny coastal village of Neyfn, in North Wales, which has less than 1,300 residents. Most read in MusicShe was raised by mum Joyce, who worked in a factory, and dad Allan Evans, a storeman, but it was far from a happy childhood due to the couple’s marital difficulties.Duffy told the Mail On Sunday: “They tried to separate when I was six but I cried so much that they stayed together. Welsh singer Duffy stars in Diet Coke commercial”That was very cruel of me, really, but my mum is a lovely woman and she didn’t want to hurt us.”They finally separated when I was nine. As kids, we weren’t really aware of the emotional side of it but I guess there was quite an upheaval.”While Duffy dismissed its effect on her, insisting she was “not someone who takes scared with me”, the news was “a big thing in the town” and gossip spread. She added: “Everybody was talking about it – but I think my mum did the right thing in leaving. I remember my dad being very upset.”Assassination plotBy 1996, Duffy’s mum Joyce had married new partner Philip Smith and the family moved to live with him and his four children.A year later, they returned home one evening to be told by police that Philip’s ex-wife Dawn has attempted to hire hitman to kill him.It was a horrendous thing to do. Me, my two sisters and my mum had stuck together through thick and thin, and when I left it was like I was saying, “F*** you.DuffyPhilip later told the Mirror: “Dawn had agreed to pay about £3,000 to a local man, Robert Rees, to shoot me dead.” Dawn, who died in 2002, told Robert to “just blow [Philip’s] head off” but instead he went to the police. Duffy, along with the rest of the family, had to be moved into a safe house until police arrested Dawn and her new husband Marc Watson. In 1998, she was convicted of soliciting murder and sentenced to three-and-a-half years in prison. Recalling that traumatic time, the singer previously told us: “I was so terrified. I felt so ill.”’Dog-eat-dog’ familyDuffy struggled with fame and nearly quit music for good in 2009Credit: RexSettling into life with her mum and stepdad had never been easy for Duffy. The future singer, alongside her two sisters, were made to leave their dad and move 200 miles away to Pembrokeshire to live with Philip. Before departing her father’s house, she scrawled “I love you Dad” on the wall as she struggled to imagine not being with him. At her new school, which was English-speaking, Duffy, her twin sister Kate and older sister Kelly found it hard to fit in and were thought of as “weird” by classmates due to speaking Welsh. She said: “We quickly learned that we weren’t going to survive if we did that.”Adapting to having four step-siblings wasn’t easy either. Duffy described it as a “dog-eat-dog” environment. She recalled: “If you had a chocolate bar you had bought with some money you had found then there was outrage in the house, ‘How come you’ve got one?’ But little things were what we got by on. We just didn’t have anything.” At 15, Duffy ran away from home and went back to live with her dad in Nefyn. She reflected: “It was a horrendous thing to do. Me, my two sisters and my mum had stuck together through thick and thin, and when I left it was like I was saying, “F*** you.“But I just had to do something because it was killing me living there.”Troubled teensDuffy’s teen years were troubled and she went off the rails. She told the Mail: “From 15 to 18, I did everything – body-piercing to going on 48-hour binge beach parties, to stealing someone’s boat at night and rowing it from one place to another when we were drunk, to jumping on a milk float for a lift home.”I wanted the record to do everything it needed to do, but I didn’t really want to be associated with it because I wasn’t proud of myself. I’ve never been proud of myself.DuffyHer behaviour concerned family members so much that her aunt warned she would become a single mum on benefits if she didn’t turn her life around. But Duffy was focused and became determined to be a singer-songwriter. After completing her A-levels, she spent a short time at Chester University before dropping out.  While working as a waitress and in clothing shops, she penned some of the songs that would eventually make her a star. ‘Falling apart’Duffy in her notorious 2009 Diet Coke advertCredit: Coca ColaIn 2007, Duffy signed a record deal. It came four years after appearing on Wawffactor, the Welsh equivalent of The X Factor. Her debut album Rockferry was an instant success – it became the fourth best-selling album of 2008 and sold nine million copies.  But, rather than taking joy from her achievement, the singer felt uncomfortable and self-conscious. She said: “I feel quite embarrassed and shy about it all and quite scared…  “I wanted the record to do everything it needed to do, but I didn’t really want to be associated with it because I wasn’t proud of myself. “I’ve never been proud of myself. There is so much more to do.”The following year she beat stars including Amy Winehouse and Lily Allen at the 2009 Brit Awards – where she scooped three out of four gongs – but still her feeling of dissatisfaction continued. I thought he treasured me. I asked him to tell me his hidden secrets and it all came out, so I couldn’t be with him.DuffyThat same year, she was mocked for featuring in a Diet Coke advert that saw her singing while cycling through a supermarket. Duffy nearly quit fame because of the pressure and stress, explaining that she didn’t want to be “adored or admired, to make money or be successful”.“I did think, ‘Maybe I won’t do this at all,’” she said. “It was a wild, exhilarating experience and at times it felt as though I was falling apart at the seams.“Life had got so complicated. I found it difficult to operate in the music industry.”  Cheating exDuffy’s romantic life hadn’t been much easier either. In 2006, her five-year relationship with music promoter Mark Durston ended after he admitted to having cheated on her. She explained: “I thought he treasured me. I asked him to tell me his hidden secrets and it all came out, so I couldn’t be with him.”She later added: “He hurt me but he didn’t destroy me. “But I don’t resent anyone – I can’t blame him for behaving the way he did. I was hurt but it didn’t surprise me. Duffy dated Welsh international rugby player Mike Phillips for two yearsCredit: Alamy”When I started I had absolutely no one to protect me or two pennies to rub together. I thought he was a good guy and he provided a little stability and then it was another one bites the dust.”By 2009, Duffy was dating Welsh international rugby player Mike Phillips but their romance ended after two years. At the time, a source claimed their “arguments were getting more frequent” and described the break-up as “a very unfortunate and sad situation”.They added: “The arguments were increasing as the uncertainty surrounding Mike’s career increased.I thought the public disclosure of my story would utterly destroy my life, emotionally, while hiding my story was destroying my life so much more. I believe that not singing is killing meDuffy“They tried to reconcile things on several occasions and were both keen to make it work but it is now over once and for all.“It’s all very amicable. It is just unfortunate the way things didn’t work out.”Since then, Duffy appears to have kept her relationships out of the private eye. Horror blazeBad luck appeared to follow Duffy. In 2010, her album flopped and then after dropping her manager Angela Becker, she was sued and had to settle out of court. In 2012, further chaos followed when Duffy’s £12million penthouse home in Kensington, West London, caught fire. She was packing her belongings ready to move out the following day when a pal spotted smoke pouring thought one of the home’s vents. Duffy’s £12m penthouse in Kensington caught fire in 2012Credit: National PicturesIt took more than four hours for the blaze to be put outCredit: National PicturesUnable to trace the source of the fire, they fled outside where they were forced to watch the lavish property burn.  It took more than 60 firefighters six hours to put out the blaze at her home – which boasted an indoor swimming pool, games room and a cinema.Recalling the incident, one neighbour told the Mail: “I saw Duffy running outside. She was running about all over the place. When the police arrived they calmed her.”I would take off my pyjamas and throw them in the fire and put on another set. My hair would get so knotted from not brushing it, as I grieved, I cut it all offDuffyDuffy was facing problems with her career too. In 2011, she cancelled a gig in Monaco and a year later, she pulled out of one in Dubai. It’s believed that somewhere around this time, she suffered the harrowing attack that led her to retreat from the spotlight. Duffy took on smaller projects including playing a singer in the 2015 film Legend, which was about the Kray twins. She was also due to appear in a film titled Secret Love, which was never made, and was said to be working on a new album with Albert Hammond but the music was never released. In 2014, her former mentor Bernard Butler said: “She went off the rails and it all went pear-shaped for her.”’Life in danger’It appears few knew about Duffy’s ordeal – with the singer admitting she didn’t tell many people because she “knew my life was in danger”.On her 2020 blog, the singer said: “It didn’t feel safe to go to the police. I felt if anything went wrong, I would be dead, and he would have killed me. I could not risk being mishandled or it being all over the news during my danger.”Duffy, who did not report the incident to police, says she battled suicidal thoughts and considered changing her name to flee to another country. Duffy posts on social media but in 2020 shared a snap of herselfCredit: Instagram/duffy”I would not see someone, a physical soul, for sometimes weeks and weeks and weeks at a time, remaining alone,” she added.“I would take off my pyjamas and throw them in the fire and put on another set. My hair would get so knotted from not brushing it, as I grieved, I cut it all off.”Duffy revealed it was the conviction of Harvey Weinstein – who was found guilty of two sexual abuse charges in 2020 – that encouraged her to speak out. She added: “I thought the public disclosure of my story would utterly destroy my life, emotionally, while hiding my story was destroying my life so much more. I believe that not singing is killing me.READ MORE SUN STORIES”So, I just have to be strong and disclose it and face all my fears head-on. I’ve come to realise I can’t erase myself, I live in my being, so I have to be completely honest and have faith in the outcome.”I can now leave this decade behind. Where the past belongs. Hopefully no more ‘what happened to Duffy questions’, now you know … and I am free.” More

You’re a s***! How could you do that movie?’ — in front of everyone. It was very embarrassing,”Sacha later claimed the film contributed to Pamela filing for divorce from Kid Rock, just four months after they had tied the knot. And she goes, ‘The movie.’ And I thought it was a joke, but then a few weeks later they got divorced and they put as a reason for divorce, Borat.”  Stabbing threatLiam Gallagher threatened to stab Sacha in the eyeCredit: GettySacha amusingly based the hair-do and fashion sense of footballer-hooligan character Nobby, from Grimsby, on Liam Gallagher – but even before then the duo had locked horns. The actor revealed a fiery argument with the ex-Oasis frontman at the 2012 GQ Awards because he didn’t tell a planned gag about the singer.“So Liam Gallagher comes over and says, ‘Why the f*** didn’t you take the p*** out of me tonight?” Sacha recalled on the US talk show Conan.“And I said, ‘I just didn’t get round to it’, and he said, ‘Do you know what? I’m going to stab you in the eye.’””I thought to myself, ‘I’ve never heard such a specific threat. That’s a good aim.’ Anyway, eventually he didn’t stab me.”When Liam’s agent was approached for comment about the claims, he replied: “Liam wants to clarify that it wasn’t just the one eye, it was both.”In 2018, when recalling the incident to Junkee, the singer said Sacha was “full of s***” and said he made the threat “because he was getting lippy”.  Liam added: “I think he doing the rounds, he was selling some f***in’ s*** film that he’d done. There are stories of little people walking around parties with plates of cocaine on their heads!”He’s a bad guy, he’s a moron… he would get no ratings, nobody cares about himDonald TrumpHe later added that while Brian was an “amazing musician” he was “not a great movie producer”, which led to him quit the film – which would later star Rami Malek.Brian disputed his account, telling the Mail on Sunday’s Event magazine: “Sacha became an arse. We had some nice times with Sacha kicking around ideas, but he went off and told untruths about what happened.“Why would he go away and say that we didn’t want to make a gritty film? Are we the kind of people who have ever ducked from the truth? It was to do with people staring at me and wanting to talk to me. And it was irrational. It was so scary.”My heart pounded, head spun, my breathing quickened, my palms got sweaty and I’d be red hot. If someone was talking to me, I’d feel really distant. It lasted anything between a minute and an hour.”It was all part of learning to deal with fame. I didn’t know what to do about it, and that stress led to more panic attacks.”I couldn’t sleep at night as I used to worry so much, listening to every creak, thinking someone was in the houseTina O’BrienTina’s panic attacks got worse after her house in Manchester was burgled while she was alone upstairs.Someone had come in through the back door and took her coat, keys and purse. She phoned her mum, who came round and took her back home.Tina said: “Whoever burgled me knew it was my home. I couldn’t feel happy or safe there afterwards so I moved out very quickly.”I couldn’t sleep at night as I used to worry so much, listening to every creak, thinking someone was in the house.”Stalker hellTina’s romance with Ryan Thomas caused crazed fans to start stalking themCredit: GettyTina’s early love life could have been lifted straight from the Corrie script, as she fell for two co-stars who happened to play brothers in the soap — Bruno Langley and Ryan Thomas.Tina’s short romance with Bruno started when her character Sarah was dating his character Todd Grimshaw in 2003. Later that year, having split from Bruno, Tina fell for Ryan — who played Jason Grimshaw — which required some diplomacy behind the scenes.Tina said: “It was five months later when I got together with Ryan and I was worried about it, as he’s a friend of Bruno. But we worked hard to make sure there wasn’t any tension between the three of us.”It was Tina who made the first move on Ryan after a night out. When he went to Spain with pals shortly after they got together, they were so besotted he spent more than £2,000 on his hotel phone bill.Sometimes she put things in place of my head and said, ‘I wish Sarah-Lou would die,’ or, ‘Why are you with that girl?’Tina O’BrienBut their romance brought unwanted attention; one female fan began stalking them, waiting outside the gates of the Corrie studios in Manchester and sending them photos with Tina’s head cut off.Tina said: “Sometimes she put things in place of my head and said, ‘I wish Sarah-Lou would die,’ or, ‘Why are you with that girl?’“I also had one who was a foot fetishist and sent pictures of feet. It was very weird.”In October 2008, Tina and Ryan welcomed daughter Scarlett, now 15,  but they split a year later.Tina claimed: “He didn’t love me any more. He said I didn’t do it for him any more. Those were his words.”She’d left Corrie to have Scarlett, and claimed Ryan – who was still on the soap – talked her out of returning.“Maybe he knew he was going to end it and didn’t want the hassle of us working together,” she said.Post-natal depressionTina revealed she suffered from post-natal depression after giving birth to ScarlettCredit: Instagram/Tina O’BrienTina has since confessed she suffered from crippling postnatal depression. In 2019 she took to Instagram, as part of the 10 Year Challenge, sharing a picture of herself in 2009 alongside a present-day one.She wrote: “I wouldn’t be complete without my incredible 10-year-old daughter. “I wish I could tell the scared and fragile Tina of 10 years ago, ‘It’s going to be ok, you will get through this.’ He didn’t love me any more. He said I didn’t do it for him any more. I’d be lying if I said it was easy. “2009 was a tough year. But to get through things sure as hell makes you stronger.”Amicable co-parentingTina said her husband Adam Crofts was the reason she and Ryan were amicable at firstCredit: SplashTina eventually returned to Corrie in 2015, with Ryan leaving the following year for a stint in Neighbours. He later went on to win Celebrity Big Brother. The exes seemed to be getting back on track in 2018, when Tina married Adam Crofts and invited Ryan to their wedding. At the time Ryan said: “Adam is cool, he’s just a lovely guy. As a stepfather in Scarlett’s life, I’ve hit the jackpot. She adores him.”Tina and Adam, who share eight-year-old son Beau, even spent Christmas with Ryan and Scarlett, along with Ryan’s partner, former TOWIE star Lucy Mecklenburgh, who he’s been engaged to since June 2019.Tina confessed their ability to be amicable was all down to Adam and Ryan, adding: “It’s taken a lot of years and a lot of biting my tongue. “It helps that everyone has moved on and is in a happy place. Ryan is really happy and we are happy, so there aren’t any issues.”For the sake of Scarlett, it has been well worth preserving [our relationship] and choosing our battles.”Smashed up carRyan and Tina have feuded since he had children with Lucy MecklenburghCredit: InstagramBut in 2019, when Ryan and Lucy announced they were expecting their first child, Tina appeared to reignite their feud. She posted: “Don’t always trust what you see on social media. Even salt looks like sugar.” She later deleted the post, before writing: “Don’t waste your time with explanations. People will hear what they want to hear.”In 2022, Ryan accused Tina of smashing up his Range Rover with a baseball bat.A source told The Sun: “Ryan will be billing Tina for what she has done to his car. She caused around £1,000 worth of damage… The paintwork needs sorting out and the wing mirror is a write-off. “Ryan doesn’t want any more drama with Tina and was left really shaken up by her actions.“But he wants her to right the wrong when it comes to the cost he was saddled with. Inside James Martin’s romance with Bond boss Barbara Broccoli who showered him with gifts before split over £180k car

HE’S kept pretty quiet about his love life in recent years, but one past relationship left TV chef James Martin shaken and stirred. The ex-Saturday Kitchen host, 51, who has split from his girlfriend of 12 years Louise Davies, previously dated James Bond producer Barbara Broccoli for four-and-a-half years.James Martin and his girlfriend of 12 years Louise Davies have splitCredit: GettyJames dated Barbara Broccoli for four and a half yearsCredit: GettyDuring their romance, which ended in 2008, Barbara – who is 12 years James’ senior – showered him with gifts, including a Picasso painting for his birthday. She also introduced him to her Hollywood A-lister pals, including Daniel Craig, Halle Berry and Nicole Kidman.James has previously referred to her as the “love of his life” – but called time on their romance after Barbara tried to buy him a £180,000 Aston Martin. The unlikely pair met in 2001, when Barbara “won” him at a charity auction.READ MORE SHOWBIZ FEATURESShe paid an eye-watering £18,000 to have him come to her house in Chelsea to cook her and five friends a meal. The chef, then 29, turned up having no idea she was the daughter of the first Bond producer ‘Cubby’ Broccoli – or that she was producing Bond with her half-brother.“The evening was hilarious – and we just clicked,” he previously told the Daily Mail. “I just thought she was an amazing woman.”He offered to cook for her again on her birthday, and afterwards they started dating. Most read in CelebrityJames described their relationship as “surreal, exciting and unforgettable”, adding Barbara was “incredibly easy to be around” and “generous to a fault”.“My phrase for her was, ‘Being with you is as easy as breathing,’ and it was true,” he said.Shocking moment James Martin launches into furious f-word rant at TV crew”She’d never ask for anything but would give everything to make you happy.“Unlike many in her business, Barbara is not pretentious or ostentatious – she drives a Volvo, for crying out loud.”Hollywood hangoutsJames hung out with Daniel Craig on numerous occasions thanks to BarbaraCredit: GettyThree months into their relationship, James visited Barbara’s mansion in Los Angeles. He told how it was massive, with a lounge twice the size of his entire home, and he struggled to fathom how he’d ended up there. While Barbara was out one day, James told how he was greeted by a man dressed in a black suit holding a silver plate with an envelope containing a set of car keys. There was a note from his girlfriend which read: “Enjoy Beverly Hills, I’ll see you later, love B.”The keys were for a silver Ferrari 360 Spyder, which she encouraged James to take for a spin as she’d put him on the insurance.”So what did I do? I headed for a KFC drive-thru and bought myself a Bargain Bucket,” James recalled.Inside James Martin’s relationshipsJAMES Martin has been very private about his love relationships, but he has recently confirmed his split from long-time girlfriend Louise Davies.
Here is a look back over James’ dating history.

Barbara Broccoli: James was in a four-and-a-half-year romance with James Bond producer Barbara Broccoli. The couple met after she splashed a whopping £18,000 in a charity auction to have James cook a meal for her. They finally split after James, who is 12 years younger than her, admitted there was an “imbalance” in their relationship.
Louise Davies: The lovebirds began dating in 2011 after meeting on the set of Celebrity Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. The TV producer and James lived together in a mansion in Hampshire during their time together. They called it quits after 12 years.
Kim Johnson: The TV star was first spotted with Kim shopping in Mayfair. According to reports, she is a personal trainer who likes to post fitness content on social media. She is also the ex-wife of businessman Arun Nayar who tied the knot to actress Elizabeth Hurley in 2007.
James is also known to have dated 2001 Miss England Sally Kettle, actress Claire Goose and interior designer Julia Dempster.

Barbara bought James many luxurious giftsCredit: GettyIt was the start of a new Hollywood lifestyle which saw James accompany Barbara to star-studded events, including the Baftas, where he rubbed shoulders with Halle Berry and Nicole Kidman.Barbara’s generosity stretched to buying James lavish gifts, including a Picasso painting for his birthday, after he couldn’t stop looking at one of the artist’s drawings in a gallery on their first date. She bought him another two of his artworks over the next few years, but James had to tell her to stop because he couldn’t afford the insurance on them.James says he still has all three, along with a pencil drawing of Whitstable by L. S. Lowry, stored in a vault in London.Other presents Barbara bought James included a Paul Newman Daytona Rolex –  one of which sold for a record price of $17,752,500 (£14m) last month – and a Tiffany ring he once saw Ronan Keating wearing on Top of the Pops.He admitted he tried to match her by buying her a £17,000 ring she’d said she liked, but it “wiped him out”.’Regrets’ over splitDuring their relationship the chef bonded with James Bond actor Daniel Craig over their shared love of cars.James once accompanied the star on a visit to the Aston Martin headquarters in Warwickshire to view a mock-up model of the new Aston Martin DBS – the car Daniel would later drive in Casino Royale. While there the two men were offered the chance to test drive some of their existing models.James recalled: “Barbara was laughing. Daniel and I looked like a couple of eight-year-olds who had just been told they could have any toy in the shop.”But it was that visit to Aston Martin which hit home for James how “imbalanced” their relationship was. When James gushed about the new DBS, which had a £180,000 price tag, he said Barbara then insisted she buy him one, in whatever specification he desired.James told her she was being ridiculous, stressing a car is too much to give someone as a gift – especially given it wasn’t even a special occasion.“It was a defining moment in our relationship,” he said. “Deep down, I knew there was always going to be an imbalance.”James said when he told his mum he was planning to end it, she said he was “mad”.He admitted walking away from someone who you love, and who loves you that much, was hard, adding: “Maybe it was the daftest thing I have done.”James went on: “Barbara was the first real love of my life. HE’S the Hollywood hunk hotly tipped to take over from Daniel Craig as the next James Bond – but unlike 007, he only has eyes for one woman.Aaron Taylor-Johnson, 33, has been in a relationship with his director wife Sam, who is 24 years his senior, since 2008, when she cast him in the Beatles biopic Nowhere Boy.Kick-Ass star Aaron Taylor-Johnson is said to have been ‘formally offered’ the role of James BondCredit: GettyThe actor, 33, and wife Sam, 57, went public with their romance in 2009Credit: GettyTheir age gap romance has regularly hit the headlines over the years, with the Kick-Ass star dubbed Sam’s “red carpet toyboy” when they first went public. The couple, who married in 2012, remain madly in love and share two children – Romy, 11, and Wylda, 13 – as well as two kids from Sam’s previous marriage. With Aaron poised to sign on the dotted line to play MI6’s most famous spy and ladies man, we take a look inside their touching romance.Unconventional meetingThe couple have often described their romance as like a fairytale, and the way they met involved a helpful twist of fate.READ MORE ON SHOWBIZAaron was due to audition for Sam’s debut feature film, the Beatles biopic Nowhere Boy, in 2008 but the only day he was available was when she was busy. She had recently split from her art dealer husband of 11 years Jay Jopling, and was moving out of their marital home on the day Aaron requested to audition for the role of John Lennon. “It was so inconvenient,” Sam told The Times. “In the end I was like, ‘OK, he’ll have to come to my home.’ I opened my door to John Lennon. I instantly knew he was the guy.” Aaron impressed Sam with how much research he’d done for the part, including studying the late singer’s voice and mannerisms. Most read in CelebrityPrior to Nowhere Boy, Aaron had found success with the blockbuster Kick-AssCredit: AlamySam and her ex-husband Jay Jopling, who she was married to for 11 yearsCredit: GettyShe made an impression on the actor, too, who years later said he could still picture how she looked at that 2008 audition. “I remember it very, very clearly. I know exactly what she was wearing,” Aaron said. “This white shirt that she still has, that I love. It definitely changed my life, though not in the way I expected.”‘Intense’ pursuitOn set, Sam claimed there was an “intense connection” between them, but insisted there were no saucy antics, adding: “We were very professional through the entire film… No funny business at all.”She added to Harper’s Bazaar: “As soon as we finished, he told me he was going to marry me. We had never been on a date, or even kissed.”It was a bold move from Aaron, then 18, who according to Sam, then 42, was the one who pursued her and took the initiative.“He was very intense and absolutely mind made-up,” she said, adding that while the age gap made her initially hesitant, it “wasn’t [for] long. Aaron was, ‘Have no fear'”.Speaking about their connection, Aaron said: “When I met Sam I’d already lived a life far beyond that of most of my contemporaries. “I didn’t relate to anyone my age. I just feel that we’re on the same wavelength.”‘Red carpet toyboy’Aaron and Sam got engaged shortly after filming for Nowhere Boy wrappedCredit: Getty – ContributorWhen the couple went public they faced backlash from people sceptical about their 24-year age gap. Aaron spoke about there being “a lot of negativity from other people” but insisted: “That’s their problem and their issues and however they perceive life. “I live my life to its fullest and I operate from my instincts and from my heart, and I try to be as open as possible.”For him their connection was never in question, with the actor admitting: “I knew instantly with Sam that I’d found my soulmate”.I remember it very, very clearly. I know exactly what she was wearing. This white shirt that she still has, that I love. It definitely changed my life, though not in the way I expectedAaron Taylor Johnson By 2009 they were engaged, with Aaron proposing “a year to the minute” after they met.“I knew instantly that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with this person,” he said. “I knew I wanted a family with her, I knew I wanted kids, and a month later she was pregnant with our first child.”Sam admitted she knew some of her friends wouldn’t approve – but it didn’t affect how she felt.“I could predict who was going to take a step back and who was going to say, ‘Are you happy? Great’,” she said.“I didn’t really care… People could have protested and I would have been, like, ‘Whatever’. I was in it so deep. “You may have noticed, I never care about anything that anyone says. I started drinking really early,” he explained.I just went a bit f*****g mad. I blew a s***load of money, and had two years that I cannot even remember… I was f*****g up all my work and my lifeAaron Taylor-Johnson“I grew up in a remote little village, what else are you going to do? I was having a bit of trouble, transitioning, understanding why I was so… the one that was so… successful maybe.”Thankfully this streak came to an end shortly before Nowhere Boy, which Aaron was grateful for because he got it out of his system and could move on. “If I didn’t do that then, I’d be breaking down now. I wouldn’t be able to raise a family, or be in control, or feel responsible enough to do what I do,” he admitted.Sweet nicknameThe couple renewed their vows in 2022 – with Aaron describing Sam as his ‘world’Credit: Instagram/@aarontaylorjohnsonSam and Aaron welcomed the first of their two daughters – Wylda Rae – in 2010, and Romy Hero in 2012. That feeds my soul.” Sam told The Guardian: “The great thing about Aaron is that he’s happy not working and being at home with the kids while I work.“He’s like, ‘No no, I like being an at-home dad, doing the cooking and the school runs.’ “What happens next depends on what comes up, on whether Aaron decides to do another blockbuster or an independent movie.”Sam said her friends call Aaron ‘Benjamin Button’ – the character played by Brad Pitt who ages in reverse – because “he has, on the outside, such youth, and on the inside, he is so wise and settled”. “He doesn’t like parties.
