‘You look so gorgeous’ say 80s sitcom fans as star, 54, looks like she’s ageing backwards in US chat show appearance

THIS Eighties icon made a name for herself back in the Eighties with multiple hit TV shows – and she’s still dazzling fans forty years later.

Kim Fields, 54, – now officially Kim Fields-Morgan – first appeared on our screens as a fresh-faced youngster in shows including Diff’rent Strokes back in the 70s.

However, her big break came in Facts Of Life, a spin-off of Diff’rent Strokes, becoming a central cast member as Dorothy ‘Tootsie’ Ramsey.

This week, Kim made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to promote her latest show, The Upstarts on Netflix, and baffled fans with her ageless appearance.

In the hilarious chat, Kim looked dazzling in a black and gold outfit as she reflected on her decades-long career, noting her father had worked in the building Jimmy Kimmel shoots in for the past twenty years.

Fans loved hearing from the charismatic star as they praised her for being a fundamental part of their childhood – and even present day viewing.

“Kim Fields still looks so beautiful!!!! She is a legend and excellent!! Actress,” added a fourth. “I enjoyed watching her [in] “Living Single” and ” Facts Of Life”. Much success Mrs. Fields. (sic)”.

A few years later, Kim had defined herself as a star – and was even making guest appearances in Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Soon she was back on our screens with a new sitcom, Living Single, in 1993.

Playing Regina Hunter on the show, the show followed six Black twentysomething friends navigating life from their Brooklyn brownstone apartments.

The show, which ran for five seasons, has become a source of debate in recent years over its similarities to smash-hit Friends, which started in 1994.

Friends has been accused by fans of stealing jokes and even the core storyline of Living Single, modifying it for a more white audience.

The Upstarts, now in its fifth season, launched in 2021 and stars Kim alongside Mike Epps, Wanda Sykes and Khali Spraggins.
