RYAN THOMAS may be best known for acting roles on Coronation Street and Neighbours but the star also boasts many other TV credits to his name.
Thomas has forged a burgeoning career as a reality star over the years and has appeared on a number of high-profile shows, with his latest being ITV’s Dancing On Ice.
Who is Ryan Thomas?
Ryan Thomas is an actor who was born on June 10, 1984.
He was born in Manchester and, after growing up in the city, went on to star in its home-grown soap Coronation Street.
Thomas has two famous younger brothers, Adam and Scott,
Like Ryan, Adam also inherited the acting gene and has played Adam Barton in Emmerdale and Donte Charles on Waterloo Road.
He has also appeared on Strictly Come Dancing and I’m A Celebrity.
Their other sibling, Adam’s twin Scott, is known by fans for starring in the 2016 series of ITV2’s Love Island, where he found love with now ex-girlfriend Kady McDermott.
Ryan, Scott and Adam’s father Dougie passed away in November 2020.
His death came just months after he starred in a documentary with his sons titled Absolutely India: Mancs In Mumbai, .
In March 2021, Ryan announced he was quitting acting, after having “lost the bug for it and wanted a different experience”.

How did Ryan Thomas meet Lucy Mecklenburgh?
Thomas met and fell for ex-TOWIE star Lucy Mecklenburgh in 2017.
The couple met when they spent a month battling for survival on the series Celebrity Island With Bear Grylls.
Speaking to The Mirror in 2022, Lucy revealed that Ryan had pursued her for years beforehand by direct messaging her via social media but she rejected him until she appeared on the show.
Although Lucy said she is glad the show brought them together, she originally planned to keep their bond strictly professional.
Ryan, meanwhile, confessed he anticipated an easy sexual conquest.
Two years after their romance began, Ryan proposed to Lucy during a romantic trip to Italy in June 2019.
Mecklenburgh confirmed the engagement by sharing a picture from the moment Thomas popped the question in the picturesque Italian resort of Positano on Instagram.
She wrote: “I said YES” along with a ring emoji.
In the picture, the couple could be seen smiling with a nighttime view of the Amalfi Coast behind them as Lucy showed off her glittering engagement ring.
How many children does Ryan Thomas have?
Thomas has three children – a son and two daughters.
The actor is a parent to daughter Scarlett, born October 26, 2008, from his previous relationship with Tina O’Brien.
Ryan then welcomed a baby boy – Roman Ravello Thomas – with Lucy on March 7, 2020.
Shortly after the baby boy’s arrival Ryan gushed over Lucy’s parenting, saying: “Lucy has been a supermum.
“There is no rule book about being a mother and I think it has been a day-to-day challenge and she has dealt with it all amazingly, I’m super proud of her.”
On May 31, 2022, it was revealed that Lucy had given birth to their second child, a girl the couple named Lilah Rae.

Ryan is perhaps best known for his role on Coronation Street.
He made his on-screen debut on the soap as Jason Grimshaw in December 2000.
Thomas took a brief diversion from life on the cobbles in 2012 for the spin-off show Corrie Goes To Kenya, in which he teamed up with on-screen mum Sue Cleaver (Eileen Grimshaw) and former co-stars Brooke Vincent (Sophie Webster) as well as Ben Price (Nick Tilsley).
In June 2016, Ryan left Coronation Street after nearly sixteen years.
The following year, he joined the cast of the soap opera Neighbours as Rafael Humphreys.
In August 2018, Ryan took part in the 22nd series of Celebrity Big Brother and was crowned the winner.
During his time on the show, he found himself at the centre of the infamous Roxanne Pallett “punch-gate” which saw the actress accuse him of punching her.

In May 2022 Ryan took part in ITV competition The Games and was runner-up behind Wes Nelson, and in August 2022 he took part in Celebrity MasterChef.
