AMBER Davies has swapped the West End stage for the ice rink as she takes part in the new series of Dancing on Ice.
Could she be the first Love Islander to take the crown?
Who is Amber Davies?
Amber Davies is a 27-year-old star of the West End.
The Welsh star plays the role of Vivian Ward in Pretty Woman: The Musical UK.
Prior to her stint on Love Island, Amber identified herself as a dancer.
Additionally, she has experience working as an entertainer in London’s circus-themed club night, Cirque Le Soir—the same venue where Love Island’s 2016 winner, Cara de la Hoyde, performed before her time on the show.

When was she on Love Island?
Amber was on Love Island in 2017.
Upon entering the house, she quickly got serious with Kem Cetinay ten days in.
The pair had an on/off coupling for a few weeks before settling down and becoming official boyfriend and girlfriend.
They cruised into the final and said they were looking forward to being together when they left the villa.
After an emotional declaration of love during the last episode, the pair were crowned winners of the series, opting to share the £50k prize money.

What happened with Amber and Kem?
As reported by The Sun’s Bizarre column, Amber and Kem decided to split after a series of rows in December 2017.
A source said: “They’ve been at each other’s necks for the past month.
“They’ve clashed over the smallest things.
“It’s also been very hard for them to see each other with their hectic schedules. They tried to make it work but realised they want different things.”
They said in a statement: “With sadness, we’ve decided to separate. Our schedules made it difficult. We’ll remain good friends.”
Who is her boyfriend Ben Joyce?
Amber is in a relationship with musical co-star Ben Joyce.
The pair met during their time on stage for Back to the Future.
Speaking on ITV’s Lorraine about Ben, Amber said: “He’s my number one fan, he takes everything in his stride, we look after each other and that’s the main thing.
“He’s so happy for me but I think he thinks I’m crazy, he’ll be watching me on the ice like that [face behind the hands] but he’s just so amazing, I’m so lucky to have him.”

In April 2018, Amber went public with Essex lad James Hawkins.
Amber posted a pic of her with James on Twitter and captioned it: “Happy as can be. 2018 we are ready for you.”

Speaking about doing the show, Amber said: “I didn’t think an opportunity like this would present itself, especially because I haven’t been on telly for so many years.
“I thought that ship had sailed. But when the producers pulled me in for a meeting, they solely recognised me as a musical theatre performer.
“And for me, I was like, ‘Oh, that’s so lovely.’ I don’t feel like opportunities like this come around often, at my age, to learn a brand new skill from scratch.

“I love pushing my mind and pushing my body, and because I have trained in dancing, I was so intrigued to see if any of it’s the same. And actually, although the terminology in the language is the same, it’s not the same on ice. It’s not.
