Who is Levi Roots?
Keith Valentine Graham was born June 24, 1958 and is better known as Levi Roots.
He is a British-Jamaican reggae musician, television personality, celebrity chef and businessman.
Levi was born in Clarendon, Jamaica and was raised by his grandmother after his parents moved to the UK, until he joined them at age 11.
Before become famous for his Reggae Reggae Sauce, he was a known musician.
He has performed with James Brown and Maxi Priest and was nominated for a Best Reggae Act MOBO award in 1998.
Levi was a friend of Bob Marley and he performed Happy Birthday Mr. President for Nelson Mandela in 1996 on his trip to Brixton.
When was Levi on Dragons’ Den?
Levi appeared on Dragons’ Den in 2007 where he showed off his Reggae Reggae Sauce which is a jerk barbecue sauce.
In 2006 he sold 4,000 bottles of the sauce at the Notting Hill Carnival.
He later took the sauce to a food trade show, where he was spotted by a BBC producer who approached him to appear on Dragons’ Den.
Levi appeared in the first episode of the fourth series in 2007, seeking £50,000 of investment from the Dragons in return for a 20% equity stake in Reggae Reggae Sauce.
Despite claiming that he had an order for 2.5 million litres of the sauce (when in fact the order was for 2,500 kilograms), he was offered the £50,000 for a 40% stake in his business by Peter Jones and Richard Farleigh.
Shortly after Levi’s appearance on the programme, Sainsbury’s announced that they would be stocking the sauce in 600 of their stores.
Does Levi Roots have a partner?
It’s believed that Levi does not have a partner at the moment.
Levi a a dad to eight children from seven different mothers.
However, he tends to keep his personal life private so little is known about his previous relationships.
What is Levi Root’s net worth?
Levi has amassed quite a fortune.
He has an estimated worth of around £35 million.
This is mostly through sales of his popular Reggae Reggae Sauce.

When is Levi Roots on Celebrity Big Brother?
Levi has been announced as one of the contestants to be appearing on the new series of Celebrity Big Brother.
The new series starts on Monday, March 2, 2024 and will be the first series of the show in six years.
Levi will be joined by other well-known faces such as Love Island’s Ekin-Su, Strictly’s Nikita Kuzmin, Sharon Osbourne, David Potts, Bradley Riches, Zeze Mills, Marisha Wallace, Colson Smith and Louis Walsh.
