ACTRESS Billie Piper and Johnny Lloyd have ended their relationship after eight years.
Following the couple’s split, we take a look at who Johnny Lloyd is and when the pair first began dating.
Who is Johnny Lloyd?
Johnny Lloyd is a musician, a member of the band Tribes, and the ex-partner of former Doctor Who star Billie Piper.
The pair both share a five-year-old daughter.

Prior to joining Tribes, Johnny was previously a singer and guitarist in a band called Operahouse.
Tribes was formed with fellow Operahouse bandmates Dan White (guitar) and Jim Cratchley (bass), along with Dan’s childhood friend, Miguel Demelo (drums).
Ever since starting out his singing career, Johnny has spent time in LA writing soundtracks for Netflix and TV shows and has been touring the UK with his band.
In February 2024, The Sun exclusively revealed that the pair had split following an eight-year relationship.
A source said: “The relationship ran its course.”
The source, who said that Billie and Johnny split last year, added: “It’s obviously very sad that the couple have gone their separate ways.
“But the relationship ran its course and they decided they would be better off apart.
“Like many couples, lockdown was quite tough for them, so they have had time to really think about what they want their future to look like.
“They will always treasure the time they had together and have many happy memories.
“Now they are concentrating on co-parenting their daughter and their separate careers.”
The source continued: “Johnny has thrown himself into music again, while Billie’s acting career goes from strength to strength.
“Everyone is being very mature about it and making the transition as smooth as possible.”
When did Johnny Lloyd start dating Billie Piper?
Billie Piper and ex-partner Johnny Lloyd first started dating back in 2016.
Opening up about their love affair in 2019, Johnny said: “It was a big romance. If you meet somebody like that it blows you over. This was who I wanted to be with. Every day she inspires me.
“I cannot stress enough how talented I think she is.
“I was a bit lost before but seeing what she can achieve in a day, the amount of meetings she takes and how she moves her life forward inspires me to work harder.
“She doesn’t wait and see if things happen, she goes out and gets them. That’s why she’s so successful. It’s awe-inspiring. She’s ambitious, we both are.”
He added: “She challenged me. She kept asking me questions like, What’s your five-year plan? Where are you headed musically? And telling me I had to be accountable for everything I did,
“I felt my head had been stuck in this way of just thinking next job, next tour and I wanted to keep talking to her. Luckily she felt the same way about me.
“She’s made my life better in so many ways and I just feel I now know who I am, I know what I can do, I know where I want to be. And that’s with her.”
The singer also featured a heavily pregnant Billie on the cover of his 2019 solo album, Next Episode Starts in 15 Seconds.

In April 2011, Tribes released their EP We Were Children – which saw the music video filmed in Camden town, London.
The band then released their debut album Baby in 2012.
Since then, Tribes have supported various bands on tour including The Kooks, Kaiser Chiefs, Kasabian, Mona, and Mystery Jets.
