HOLLYWOOD actress Renee Zellweger is set to make a huge comeback as Bridget for a fourth instalment of the popular saga.

And just like her Bridget Jone’s character she has had her fair share of dating high-flying actors and musicians.

Renee dated Sims Ellison, who was a musician in their home state of Texas, for five years before splitting in 1993.

The guitarist died by suicide in 1995. Renee gave a eulogy at his funeral.

Renee was reportedly dating her Empire Records costar while filming the 1995 blockbuster.

Jim Carrey

Renee and funnyman Jim Carrey met on the set of Me, Myself and Irene in 1999. They got engaged that same year.

Renee, 52, and Ant, 42, have begun a romantic relationship after filming an episode of his new Discovery+ show Celebrity IOU Joyride, TMZ has reported.

A source told the outlet that after the new couple “filmed their episode she actually returned to the set at some point to drop off some work boots for Ant.”

Although the insider did not disclose when their romance began, they added that they are officially “going out now.”

Ant had Amelie, Archie and three-year-old Hudson from previous marriages.

The fourth instalment of the popular Bridget Jones saga has been confirmed with the star making a huge comeback.

Filming is set to begin in April 2024 with Renee Zellweger set to reprise the role of hapless lead character Bridget.

Hugh Grant will also be returning to the big screen again as hunky antagonist Daniel Cleaver, while Emma Thompson – who appeared in the 2016 flick Bridget Jones’s Baby – will also be returning.

But there will also be new faces, with The Lion King star Chiwetel Ejiofor joining the cast.

The Hollywood Reporter said: “Jones is now navigating life, work, family and love as a 51-year-old single mother and widow, to boot (I know, right?!). And of course, there’s the hot sex with a 30-year old man.”
