According to TMZ, the American TV star cited irreconcilable differences when submitting the divorce papers in New York.
The pair had been on and off since they first separated in April 2017.
Although they reunited in 2018, it was reported that they were living apart.
La La told People.com that moving to New York put the pair’s relationship under a lot of stress.
She said: “That’s not the only reason things didn’t work out, but things got tough with New York, just constantly being under the spotlight and people watching every little thing.”
