Sharon found fame for flashing her privates in the 1992 erotic thriller starring Michael Douglas.

The Oscar-nominated actress went on to become one of Hollywood’s biggest stars and sex symbols throughout the 1990s.

However, after following her Basic Instincts, Sharon’s focus shifted towards helping those suffering with HIV/AIDS.

In 2013 Sharon was awarded a Nobel Peace Prize for her work.

In a new interview with Alex Salmond for Turkish Tea Talk, Sharon gets emotional as she says: “Suddenly I was like, ‘I’m in the right goddamn room’.

Speaking to The Sun after his interview for a new online series, Alex said: “Sharon Stone is a fascinating person to interview – a lovely human being.

“Right now she has found personal fulfilment in her painting and in her work for the United Nations.

“However, she also gave a clear signal of a return to the silver screen when offered a significant role worthy of her talents.

“All in all Sharon Stone was a joy to work with on TRT World”
