‘This is the end’ say worried Chunkz and Filly fans as star makes heartbreaking confession on podcast

CONTENT creators Chunkz and Yung Filly left fans worried whether recent clash on their podcast, could mark the end not only their hit online show, but off their friendship.

The disagreement took place on Chunkz, 28, and Filly’s, 28, successful podcast: The Chunkz and Filly Show which streams on all podcast platforms, with over 58 million views on YouTube alone.

Chunkz looked suprised at Filly’s confession on a recent episode of the hit podcast The Chunkz and Filly Show

The difference of opinion happened when Filly expressed to his good friend and co-presenter Chunkz that he had felt lonely the day prior to taping episode 23 of the show.

Filly made the gut-wrenching confession that his feelings of loneliness led him to scroll through his phone to see who he could call.

THE PODCAST DISAGREEMENT

The Colombian-British YouTuber and musician told Chunkz: “I scrolled through my phone yesterday to see who I could call to come and stay at my house. Do you know how sad that is?”

A puzzled Chunkz was left wondering why Filly didn’t call him, as he responded: “Why didn’t you call me?”

The Grey rapper said: “Chunkz, I know you. There is no way on earth, if I called you and said: ‘Chunkz, I feel lonely. Come and sleep over my house’, you would come over.”

The tension between the close friends grew when Chunkz admitted that he wouldn’t. The London-born internet sensation said: “Yeah, I wouldn’t call, especially if it’s during Ramadan.”

Ramadan is a month of fasting, prayer and reflection for those within the Islamic faith.

Filly became frustrated with Chunkz as he believed Chunkz may have been using this reason as an excuse for not calling Filly, and being more present as a friend.

The singer-rapper looked to the camera, and said “The lies! He wouldn’t call or come over in general. He’s only been to my house four times.”

Chunkz threw the same question back to his Filly, abruptly asking him: “How many times have you [Filly] been to my house?” Guess.”

Chunkz sparks fears he’s quitting YouTube and podcast career as he tells fans ‘I don’t know how long I’ve got left’

Filly angrily responded: “In life I have been to your house way more than you’ve been to mine.”

Things escalated when Chunkz examined further, the reasons why Filly would visit his home. Chunkz said: “And for what reasons did you come over to mine?”

The South London media personality responded: “To come over and chill of course! There’ll be certain times I come over your house just for the sake of staying there. You wouldn’t.”

Chunkz took umbrage with Filly’s comments, and began calling a third party on the phone, their mutual friend, content creator Ilyas Noreaga.

When IIyas was asked by Chunkz, whether Filly had ever shown up to their homes ‘for the sole reason of just hang out with us’, Ilyas responded instantaneously, with a short and simple answer: “No.”

Filly did not like this response, and encouraged IIyas to hang up the phone from his end, before informing him that his response made Filly ‘feel sick’.

The long-time friends ended the conversation with laughter, however the uncomfortable conversation led fans to believe there may be a deeper underlying issue between the two.

An array of comments were left in the comment section of the Tik Tok video clip, which highlighted the awkward exchange.

One fan said: “Chunkz handled this wrong. This podcast is going to rip them apart. It’s showing some underlying fundamental issues in their friendship.”

Another super-fan echoed a similar sentiment, by saying: “They’ve become business partners more than friends. This is how men express loneliness and “friends” don’t see it.”

However, some fans believed the issue may be down to Filly.

The fan said: “If you’re lonely, that means there’s something missing in you. I hope they reconcile amicably. Filly just needs to break out and meet new people.”
