Sydney Sweeney’s savage Met Gala revenge on film producer who claimed she ‘can’t act’

ACTRESS Sydney Sweeney used the Met Gala’s after party to seemingly take a swipe at a film producer who claimed she “isn’t pretty” and “can’t act”.

Sydney, 26, wore a brown MiuMiu backless dress — and a dark wig that looked remarkably similar to tormentor Carol Baum’s hairstyle.

An insider said: “Sydney’s wig was the talk of the Met and everyone was commenting on it at the after party.

“It definitely looked like she was having a dig at Carol by wearing it because it looked so much like Carol’s hair.

“If Sydney wanted to make a statement, she definitely did.”

Last month, executive producer Baum, whose credits include Father Of The Bride, mocked Sydney for her turn in rom-com Anyone But You.

Euphoria actress Sydney later responded by wearing a jumper that read: “Sorry for having great t**s and correct opinions.”

Since finding fame in Euphoria, she has become one of Hollywood’s most in-demand actresses.

But the pressure of her back-to-back schedule has taken its toll, with Sydney admitting: “I still can’t get my mind to shut up, and I don’t sleep.”

Working hard is ingrained into her, however.

She said: “I had no idea getting into this industry how many people have connections.
