ADULT film star Sophia Leone has tragically died at the age of 26, her family announced.
The star was reportedly found unresponsive in her New Mexico apartment by her family on March 1.
Sophia’s stepfather issued a statement confirming her death on a GoFundMe page, adding, “A investigation by local Police into the cause of death is still currently on going.”
One of the star’s friends gave a heartfelt tribute, writing, “She was my friend and a beautiful person. The time I spent with her will always be appreciated. So happy I got to meet her”

Tributes for Sophia have poured in from the adult entertainment industry.
“I’m speechless and heartbroken. I can’t believe what I’m seeing,” said adult star Gina Valentine.
Valentine said she hoped Sophia was not in pain.

Brian Berke, who founded AMA Modeling in 2004 in South Florida, is left devastated by the news of her death.
“At 18 years old you started with me at AMA and now at 26 I have to say goodbye,” he said.

In a series of photos, a smiling Sophia was sporting denim jeans and white sneakers and her lilac bag was draped over her shoulder.

Death announced by stepfather
Sophia Leone’s death was announced by her stepfather, Mike Romero, on the family’s GoFundMe page.
“On behalf of her Mother & Family, It is with a heavy heart that I have to Share the news of our beloved Sophia’s Passing,” Romero wrote.
“The Sudden loss of Sophia has left her family and Friends devastated and in Shock, on top of The difficult process of grieving and Seeking Justice for Sophia the family is also facing the Financial burden that they were not prepared for.”

Sophia’s family has launched a GoFundMe as a memorial fund for the star.
As of Sunday morning, it has raised $10,275 of its $12,000 goal.

Sophia Leone’s death is being investigated by Albuquerque homicide detectives.
It is reportedly being treated as a “suspicious death,” her agent said.
Her modeling agency, 101 Modeling (@101modelinginc) said on X, formerly known as Twitter, that Leone’s death is “being investigated as a home invasion homicide.”
