Skint Katie Price reveals completely new career in desperate attempt to make cash – after being declared bankrupt TWICE

KATIE Price has claimed she’s ‘manifested’ a rebooted singing career and is now going on a 40-date tour of the UK this summer.

The reality star, model and mum, 45, has made several attempts to crack the charts over the years with little success – including a bid for Eurovision and a duet of A Whole New World with her ex-husband, Peter André.

But it seems that she’s had a resurgence and, with a renewed confidence and mission in the face of being declared bankrupt, is hitting the road.

Speaking on the Straight To The Comments podcast, Katie declared: “I’m actually doing a gig with Jedward!

“Do you know what’s weird? Everyone pops at me about my singing, but I don’t know what’s happened, since my panto this year – I done one in Newcastle and one in Liverpool – So I did an adult version and then I did a family one, and I said to them I’ll only do it if I can sing live.

“So I sang live in them both and I tell you what, I’ve got 40 dates over the summer, half-hour sets, singing live, singing five songs. Can you believe that?”

“I’m doing three of my own songs and three cover songs,” she said of what to expect. “I can’t say what they are because I want people to watch, but I know I’m headlining and one of them, Jedward’s in it and Claire from Steps is in that one.”

Guest host Jamie East quizzed Katie on her love of music, asking if she “always wanted to be a singer” to which Katie replied: “Popstar or famous, whatever, like I said in my English book when I was younger.

“But the thing is I’ve had such a s**t five/six years – breakdown and all of that – I couldn’t have it any more rock bottom than I did.

“I probably would have had a breakdown at some point, everyone does in this industry, but I really did, and then I’ve come out the other end and I’m just thinking ‘nothing can be as bad as when you hit rock bottom’.”

“When you are rock bottom, everything around you is just noise,” she said. “You can’t cope with anything.

“Now I’ve come out the other end, I like, manifest for everything. I see double numbers all the time, I’m like ‘manifest’ and it’s always about the music and now.

“40 gigs in! like you would never have known that.”

The star’s announcement comes after news broke that she had been declared bankrupt for a second time over a £750,000 tax bill.

According to court papers, £535,700 in unpaid national insurance or self-assessment tax make up the majority of the debt, as well as £40,000 in late payment fines.
