On August 8, 2022, it was revealed that Rita and Taika had tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in London.
The pair had both been pictured with gold bands on their ring fingers prior to the confirmation, sparking speculation that they had were already married.
According to reports, Rita has already changed her surname and will now be known as Mrs Waititi-Ora.

Born in August 16, 1975, the Kiwi has tried his hand at directing, producing, screenwriting, acting and has even given comedy a go.
His two feature films, Boy and Hunt for the Wilderpeople, have both at one stage been the highest grossing films in New Zealand.
Taika’s received huge critical acclaim for 2017 Thor: Ragnarok while 2019’s Jojo Rabbit – which Waititi produced, wrote the screenplay and acted in – earned six Academy Award nominations, winning Best Adapted screenplay.

The couple got married last August at their home in Los Angeles.

It boasts a swimming pool, veranda, private gardens, large garage, sundeck and stunning views across the bay.
Taika’s daughters, Matewa Kiritapu and Te Hinekahu — from his previous marriage to Chelsea Winstanley — are still based in New Zealand so it’s perfect for them too.
An insider said: “Although Taika and Rita spend a lot of time in the US and the UK, New Zealand is still a huge part of his identity and their lives together.
