PETER Kay has taken a subtle but savage swipe at Manchester arena bosses after his shows were cancelled twice.
Fans of the comedian, 50, have been left gutted after the plug was pulled on his stand-up gigs for a second time.
The opening of the brand new Manchester CO-OP Live venue is running behind schedule, meaning Peter cannot perform there yet.
But furious Peter, who has made an epic comeback in the last two years, has got his own back.
Announcing that his two Manchester dates have been pushed back for a second time, he shared a newly edited tour poster online.
The previous dates have been crossed out and Peter has added a small print to the bottom right-hand corner.

He has written alongside an asterix: “If they actually open the place.”
Peter was forced to apologise for a second time on Friday after being told his rescheduled dates were unable to go ahead either.
He had initially been booked to perform in Manchester on April 23 and April 24, but they were moved to April 29 and April 30.
But frustrated fans will now have to wait even longer to watch the Bolton-born comic perform live on stage, with new dates being set for May 23 and May 24.

Sharing the news on Instagram, Peter wrote: “To everybody with tickets, my apologies once again but unfortunately the Co-op Live still isn’t ready and so, as yet, remains untested for a large-scale audience.
“Consequently, they are having to reschedule my two shows yet again (I know I can’t believe it either).”
Peter explained how tickets will once again be transferred to the new dates, otherwise refunds will be issued if they’re not suitable.
He added: “It’s very disappointing but your safety is important and I won’t compromise that.”
Peter made his return to the spotlight after 11 years in 2022.
The funnyman had stepped away from the limelight in 2017 due to “unforeseen family circumstances”.
He did, however, make some one-off appearances for a number of charity specials in 2021.
Peter has been busy touring with his Better Late Than Never show since December 2022. It is due to run until next year and will include one show at London’s O2 Arena a month as part of a residency.
Earlier this week, however, the “gutted” comedian issued his first statement about his Manchester shows just hours before he was due to go on stage.

At the time, he said: “I’m truly gutted as I know how disappointing this will be for everyone with tickets, but obviously it’s a brand-new venue and it’s important that everything is finished and safe for full capacity audiences.”
Prior to his Better Late Than Never shows, the last time Peter had been on stage was for his The Tour That Doesn’t Tour Tour… Now On Tour in 2011.
