But the new dad, 39, was determined not to miss out on a moment, so invited his daughter Madison and his wife Amelia to join him.

Taking to Instagram, Olly gave an insight into how he was juggling fatherhood with performing to an audience of 20,000.

He filmed a funny video for fans, which showed him kissing his two girls backstage before dashing out to sing his heart out.

Moments later, he whizzed back to Madison and Amelia, before returning to the stage to entertain the massive audience.

Olly and Amelia got together in 2019 and tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in July last year.

In December, the couple announced they were expecting their first child together.

Last month, Olly took to social media to confirm his baby girl had arrived safely. He shared the news alongside a snap of his new family leaving the hospital.

“Our mini murs has arrived,” Olly wrote.

“Madison we love you so much already x.”

But it was soon back to work, with Olly getting just two days off from his 41-day tour with Take That’s Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald.

Olly told the crowd in Leeds on his return: “What’s so amazing about tonight is it’s my first show as a daddy.

“I’m going to try and not get emotional. Little Madison is doing really well.

“She’s at home with my lovely wife and it’s a real honour to be here. I wasn’t going to leave you guys hanging tonight, I’ll rush home to see the baby.”

The pop star previously revealed the bittersweet reason he waited to become a dad.

Speaking in 2018 about whether he wanted to have children, Olly said: “It’s just meeting the right person, isn’t it?

“I just want to meet the right person to do right, I don’t want to have a sort of dysfunctional household, I don’t want to it to be a mess.

“I don’t want to have a baby and then for it not to work out with the partner that I’m with, I want it to be special and amazing.

“I want to be there and have a great family, that’s what I’ve got at home.”
