Christina Applegate: Candid Conversations and Courage Against MS

Christina was a stand-out star in the 2004 film Anchorman with Will Ferrell and recently shone in Netflix’s Dead to Me.

She had recently been diagnosed during filming, and has since admitted the show could be her last stint in front of the camera.

“I don’t think I’m going to have a set that’s going to be that accommodating again.

“So I’m afraid. I don’t know if anyone’s going to accept me now, the way I am. But to not be able to do it again, honestly it hurts my heart. I miss it . . . of course I miss it.”

Christina admitted she isn’t comfortable being a poster girl for the disease, saying she turns down requests to speak about her illness at events.

The star confessed: “People say, ‘Can you talk at this thing?’ And I’ll be like, ‘No, because I’m not inspiring.’ I can’t do it.

“I’m not your girl yet. Give me a minute. This is new. Not even three years.”

The silver lining is getting priority seats and assistance at the airport.

Christina said about travelling: “Wheelchair seating— awesome.

“Pre-board— awesome. Wheelchair through the entire airport . .
