LITTLE MIX star Jade Thirlwall is finally dropping her debut single – and it includes a dig at her former boss Simon Cowell.
It seems she has unfinished business with the music mogul and takes aim at him in the lyrics of the song, Angel Of My Dreams.
It features the telling line: “Sold my soul to a SyCo” a reference to Simon’s now- defunct record label — which the girl band quit in 2018.
And Jade also looks to have taken a pop at the former X Factor supremo himself in the big-budget video for the track, which she has been secretly shooting in London.
The promo depicts Jade as a youngster trying to find fame, along with a mysterious man smoking a cigar who controls the music industry.
Fans will see this as a nod to Simon, who plucked Jade and her old bandmates Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock from thousands of pop hopefuls on the talent show back in 2011.

However, the relationship later turned sour after the group confronted Simon in a strongly worded email over their writing credits.
A bigger row then erupted between the band’s management company Modest and Simon, who decided to cut ties with them in 2018.
The dispute saw the girls move to RCA, which released their fifth album, LM5.
Jade — whose spokesman declined to comment on the apparent Simon references on the new single — later revealed the group were then stopped from pushing a message of girl power.

‘That really f***ed us over’
Asked why fans didn’t see much female empowerment in their music videos, Jade added: “We did a little bit but we had a switch of labels during the LM5 process and that really f***ed us over.
“It was harder to put all our creativity out there in the way we would have liked.
“The LM5 album was very heavy on women’s rights and our experiences in the industry.”
With ex-bandmates Perrie and Leigh-Anne both dropping new solo tunes imminently, I can’t wait to hear what Jade has to say with her new tracks.

SHE had huge success with Atomic Kitten in the Noughties, and 20 years after the group first split Natasha Hamilton is now eyeing up a solo career.
I can reveal the singer and Real Housewives of Cheshire star has been in the studio recording new music and has plans to tour.
A source said: “Natasha’s first love will always be singing and she’s always wanted to have a crack at being a solo artist.
“Her voice is in great condition and she’s raring to get on stage again. It’s a passion project.”
Mum-of-five Natasha briefly reformed with the Kittens in 2022 to go on tour with Blue so she’s no stranger to performing.

GOOD luck to Vicky Pattison, who is running the London Landmarks Half Marathon today to raise money for her furry friends.
The telly star will be joined by fiancé Ercan Ramadan at the event and the pair are jogging for the Cotswolds Dogs And Cats Home.
She tells me: “I’m quite nervous as my training tailed off a bit. I’ve got too many curves to be a runner!
“The only part I’ve really enjoyed is carb-loading the week before.
“Ercan, bless him, has been roped in, so I want to enjoy it and get through it and have a roast and cocktail after.”

ZENDAYA looked to have taken inspiration from Sixties supermodel Twiggy as she teamed her new blonde hairstyle with a retro checked minidress.
Twiggy would surely have been impressed by the green-and-white frock US beauty Zendaya wore in Paris to promote her latest movie, tennis romantic comedy Challengers.
It came after she again dazzled in green at the film’s Aussie premiere last month.
The movie, which opens here on April 26, sees the Dune star play a tennis-prodigy- turned-coach who is married to a champion player on a losing streak.

MAYA JAMA has revealed her stunning new locks after rocking short hair with a bob last month.
The Love Island host changed up her look with a fringe and extensions as she headed out with pals for a night at London’s Chishuru restaurant in Fitzrovia on Friday.
The mane refresh comes as she is rumoured to have signed a huge six-figure deal to become the face of Beauty Works.
The brand is best known for its natural-looking hair extensions, with influencer and ex-Love Island star Molly Mae-Hague having her own range with them.

PRESENTER Gethin Jones is looking for love, I can reveal.
After a brief dalliance with First Dates star Cici Coleman, which I revealed last year, the BBC Morning Live host has reactivated his Raya dating app account.
The Welsh hunk previously insisted that he didn’t use dating apps, saying: “I’ve never done an online app, it’s such a shame.
“I’ve got the perfect photos for an online profile but I’ve never done it.
“I went on Raya for a week. What a joke that was. I don’t even know how I ended up on there.
“I think my mate put me on it during lockdown because he said that I needed to get out more.”
Judging by how recent his profile pics are, I’d say Gethin – who was once engaged to stunning opera singer Katherine Jenkins – has fully acquainted himself with swiping.

EASTENDERS star Danny-Boy Hatchard has revealed he tried to convince co-star Shona McGarty to quit the BBC soap.
The actor, who played Lee Carter, said he was in awe of Shona – best known as the soap’s Whitney Dean – and encouraged her to pursue a career outside of Albert Square.
Danny said: “I was always trying to convince her to leave, even if it was for a short space of time – to just go out there and spread her wings and find herself.
“I want to see what she goes off and does next – I’m really excited for her.
“I am speculating here, but am sure she will be able to go back because she’s such a much-loved character.
“She’s slipping into that ‘national treasure’ category now because she’s been there for so long!”
Saffron’s hurt over Louis split
STRICTLY star SAFFRON BARKER has addressed her break-up with former Welsh rugby player Louis Rees-Zammit.
The influencer split from him last month before he jetted over to the States to join Taylor Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce as part of the Kansas City Chiefs NFL team.
Saffron revealed that she had finally overcome the “hurt and upset” in the aftermath of their separation and hinted he may have been unfaithful.
On her podcast Sex, Lies And DM Slides, she said: “I have had hurt and anger and frustration and feeling sorry for myself but I just woke up one day and thought, ‘I actually think this is the best thing that could have ever happened to me.’
“I feel like I have found myself again. Everyone around me has said the same thing, every single person – it is crazy.”
On the reasons for the split, she said: “I don’t want to go into the details of what happened – I feel like it is kind of obvious anyway.
