The actress starred as Princess Elizabeth in the time travelling film that helped to precipitate Keanu Reeves’s blockbuster movie career.

Showing off her slim physique in a floor length dress at a red carpet event in California, Kates still has her trademark long red hair that made her the perfect fit to play the flame haired monarch in the 1989 film.

Since her appearance in Bill and Ted, Kimberley has carved out a successful career as a jobbing TV and film actress, guest starring a range of shows.

But as well as being a performer she has since also become prominent behind the camera, setting up a big production company- Big Screen Entertainment which produces a range of shows on both the big and small screen.

Her latest film, is an action adventure starring Oscar winning actor Gary Oldman and former Bond girl Olga Kurylenko.

Indeed her old co-star Keanu Reeves is worth more than 300 million dollars, thanks in part to his role in the Matrix franchise which made him one of the richest actors in Hollywood.

After his break through role in Sci-Fi film Bill and Ted, Reeves became an action hero with starring roles in Speed and Point Break which put him on the path to superstardom.

Although Kimberley Kates has had quite the same trajectory as her old co-star, she hasn’t done too badly either.
