Katie Price takes a swipe at ex Peter Andre as she encourages crowd to boo him at live podcast event

KATIE Price has taken a swipe at her ex Peter Andre which saw the crowd at her live show drown the Aussie popstar in boos.

The 45 year old former glamour model took to the stage for her one-off podcast event, The Katie Price Show, where she left some scathing comments on her former husbands.

At the event, held at The Lowry in Salford, Katie and her sister, Sophie, 33, discussed the topic of weddings as she opened up on her seven ceremonies across her three former hubby’s.

It was husband number one, Peter Andre, that sparked the most disdain from the packed crowd as he was inundated with boos at the very mention of himself.

Choosing not to refer him to by name, Katie instead opted to call him “the Aussie from Wembley”.

Katie was left grinning as she attempted to shield her face with her microphone as a sea of boos flooded the theatre for her ex.

The star went onto reel off the different ceremonies she had with each partner before digging at her third husband Kieran Hayler by labelling him as “Kieran the cheater.”

When chatting about Peter, the father of her children Princess and Junior, she admitted that her £45,000 designer wedding dress from their plush ceremony had been left to rot in the years that followed the divorce.

Confirming she still had the gown, Katie told the crowd: “It’s been half eaten by rats. It was left in a bag in a container.”

However, she admitted that it hadn’t all been left to wear and tear as she looked at ways she could revive the iconic number for re-use.

She added: “So I have got it out, the top bit has sort of lost its crystals.

“I tried to put it around me but I’ve had a few boob jobs since then but the skirt is still amazing. I did want to wear it out tonight but I thought that would be a bit wrong.”

Elsewhere during the one-off event, Katie revealed the reason why she had stopped being the bridesmaid for other famous faces after fearing they were left asking her with an ulterior motive.

She said: “I’ve been a bridesmaid so many times but it got to the point of ‘let’s rent Katie Price so we can get on the cover of a Magazine,’ because if people had me as their bridesmaid, like some famous people, they’ll end up on the cover and get more money so I stopped doing it.”

Katie went onto add of ‘fake’ friends and loyalty: “I get so used so many times, I’m sick of it now. I’ve cut so many people out of my life, I just have the people around me where I can look at what does that person benefit of me and what do I benefit of them.”

Having almost sold out the Salford venue, the star took part in a series of Q and A’s with fans as well as treating them to two live singing performances.

One theatregoer said of the event: “Katie was in high spirits and as unfiltered as always and made sure that the crowd we’re having a good time.

“It was interesting to see how she would bring the podcast to life and hold her own on stage but she managed to do it with ease.”
