Katie Price reveals the disgusting fate of her £45,000 bejewelled wedding dress from her doomed marriage to Peter Andre

KATIE Price has admitted that her £45,000 bejewelled wedding gown that she wore to marry Peter Andre has met a rather grisly end.

The former glamour model, 45, looked back over her ill-fated marriage to Mysterious Girl singer Peter during her one-off live podcast event at The Lowry Theatre in Salford.

While reflecting on the marriage, she gave fans an update on what had happened to her infamous wedding gown.

The pink garment, which set the star back an eye-watering £45,000, was designed by Isabell Kristensen and was laced with shimmering crystals all the way down its expansive skirt.

It featured a 14ft long train and got everybody talking when the mum-of-five walked down the aisle in 2005.

However, following her bitter split from the father of her kids Junior and Princess, Katie admitted she left the outfit to rot.

Telling the crowd at her show, the TV personality said: “It’s been half eaten by rats. It was left in a bag in a container.”

In somewhat better news, she admitted that she had managed to rescue parts of the outfit despite it being chewed by the rodents.

She added: “So I have got it out, the top bit has sort of lost its crystals.

“I tried to put it around me but I’ve had a few boob jobs since then but the skirt is still amazing.

“I did want to wear it out tonight but I thought that would be a bit wrong.”

Looking back fondly, she went onto say: “But it was an amazing dress, a beautiful skirt but it was so heavy.

“Forget about the three hair pieces I had in my head and the crown.

“It was like a workout every minute walking around in that!”

During her live event, Katie refused to refer to her ex-hubby Peter by his first name and instead opted to label him as “the Aussie from Wembley”.

Katie was left grinning as she attempted to shield her face with her microphone as a sea of boos flooded the theatre for her ex.

During the show, Katie got personal as she indulged in a Q&A session with fans about her turbulent life and was left emotional as she received a series of supportive messages from all five of her children.

Her fans were left cheering for the star as she performed two songs on stage despite being incredibly nervous.

As well as belting out her 2017 track I Got U, the star also did a rendition of her yet-to-be-released cover version of We Don’t Have to Take Our Clothes Off.
