HOLLYOAKS star Chelsee Healy has hit back at cruel mum-shaming trolls after they mocked her newborn daughter’s unique name.
The actress, 35, announced the arrival of Cookie Al Rainford on Christmas Eve, but it didn’t take long for some to try and put a dampener on her happy news.
Addressing the unwelcome comments on Instagram this afternoon, Chelsee wrote: “Thank you so so much for the gorgeous messages and comments on my new baby girl.
“It’s been a difficult week but so happy she is here and healthy.
“Also the nasty messages and comments on our daughter’s name, it’s Christmas and people still can’t be kind.
“Taking time to get myself better in every aspect and enjoy my beautiful baby and be the best mummy I can be for Coco and Cookie.

“Hope you have all had the most gorgeous Christmas.”
Chelsee’s firstborn also has an unusual name. Coco, who is six years old, is from her previous relationship with Jack Malloy.
Soap star Chelsee – who is famed for playing Goldie McQueen in Hollyoaks – confirmed she was expecting her second baby in July.
Announcing the birth, she wrote on Instagram: “Cookie Al Rainford. 22.12.2023. 6lb.”

So far, she has kept the identity of her partner a secret, choosing to cover his face in any social media pictures of them.
Speaking about her boyfriend to Closer Magazine, she said: “This is the most supportive relationship I’ve ever been in.
“My friends and family love him, and he’s the first bloke I’ve introduced Coco to, which says a lot.
“I knew he was The One within three to four months. I’ve kissed a few frogs, but he’s definitely marriage material.”
Just weeks before giving birth, Chelsee teased fans by sharing a throwback with her man.
She wrote alongside it: “Mummy and daddy.”
Chelsee previously admitted that her second pregnancy wasn’t plane sailing.
She said: “I’ve struggled a bit this time round. With Coco I flew through pregnancy, but I’ve been experiencing all-day sickness and I’m exhausted.
“I’ve been sent home from work twice poorly and I’ve fallen asleep on set, I’ll be relieved when this part’s over!”
