ACTRESS Rosario Dawson has announced that she is going to be a grandmother at some point next year.
The Star Wars personality previously adopted her daughter, 11-year-old Isabella – also known as Lola – in 2014 out of foster care.
Now she is all grown up, aged 21, and is expecting a baby in 2024, and Rosario, 44, could not be more delighted.
In an interview with Page Six, the actress gushed at the news as she exclaimed: “It’s very exciting.”
But she won’t be any ordinary grandmother as she also revealed that she plans to be referred to as ‘Glamma’.
Throughout the years, the Rent star has mostly kept her adopted daughter out of the spotlight.

Although in 2017 they attended the 29Rooms red carpet together in Los Angeles.
She has also previously posted a small number of snaps of her daughter on social media.
This included a smattering of pictures in June of 2021 in honour of father’s day, where she was accompanied by Rosario’s stepfather Greg Dawson.
She captioned the carousel: “Thank you for being the best GranDaddy-O! 🤍🤍🤍🤍.”

Rosario previously revealed more the process of her adoption circumstances in an interview with Health in 2021.
The Men In Black II star admitted: “With my daughter, I didn’t go to an adoption center or anything like that.
“My family knew her biological mom, and when we found out she was in foster care, we looked for her.”
She added: “It wasn’t even a question; it was clearly meant to be – she’s my kid.”
Rosario is known for her roles in huge projects such as Rent in 2005, Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief in 2010 and her feature role as Gail in the Sin City franchise.
She’s best known for playing Ahsoka Tano in the second series of The Mandalorian of the Star Wars franchise on Disney+.
The role was later reprised in The Book of Boba Fett and in her own feature series Ahsoka.
