THE stars of 80s rock icons Cutting Crew look unrecognisable years on from their huge worldwide success.
The rock band was formed in 1985 and a year later shot to fame with their debut studio album Broadcast and hit single, (I Just) Died in Your Arms, which landed the Number 1 spot in 19 countries.
After being on the road with the likes of Slade, David Essex and Hot Chocolate, Nick Eve decided to set up his own group with Canadian guitarist Kevin MacMichael.
The following year they add Colin Farley on bass and Martin “Frosty” Beedle on drums to the band and the original line-up was complete.
They went onto crack the Top 10 with mega hits including Any Colour, One For The Mockingbird and I’ve Been In Love Before.
Their debut album sold three million copies sold worldwide, which quickly followed a band tour in Europe, USA and Asia between 1987 for the next four years.

Two years later, the band returned with another award winning album titled The Scattering – with hit singles (Between A) Rock and A Hard Place and Everything But My Pride.
Not long after Colin and Martin left the group.
Nick and Kevin continued producing music and released Compus Mentus in 1992.
But things came to an end when a number of bands were dumped from their corporate record.

In 2002, Kevin sadly passed away with cancer.
Two years later, Nick began working on new materials and added new additions to the band with Tom Arnold on drums, Sam Flynn on keys and Dom Finley on bass.
In 2020, they released a new version of their album Ransomed Healed Restored Forgiven.
Many fans will recognise their tracks from a number of hit movies, including Never Been Kissed, Hot tub Time Machine, Stitches & Lego Batman and TV show Stranger Things.
The band reunited again for another tour this year.
They have been busy touring these past four months across the UK and Europe, including Berlin and Netherlands.
