Abu Dhabi is set to break two world records on New Year’s Eve

As the UAE gets ready to celebrate the end of 2020, a much-awaited day for many, this year’s fireworks show in Abu Dhabi is ready to break two Guinness World Records.

The event is set to be hosted as a part of the Sheikh Zayed Festival. The will kick-off from 3pm onwards on December 31 as the night sky will later light up at Al Wathba for more than half an hour.

Residents in the nearby vicinity will have the opportunity to witness the stunning fireworks in addition to the laser shows as the fireworks will span over a period of 35 minutes. This will be the longest-running fireworks display, hence why it’s set to break two world records.

As the capital has started welcoming tourists from December 24, there will be plenty of events that include heritage and international events and major mass events suitable for all family members.

However, as per the strict safety measures imposed all precautionary actions must be adhered to.
