Happy Birthday!
A birthday is never complete without our loved ones! Supermodel Gigi Hadid turned 23 and it was a family affair. She celebrated her day with elder sister Gigi, her mom Yolanda and pop-star Dua Lipa.
For her birthday, the Palestinian-American model opted for a more casual and simple celebration – brunch. Heading out with the family, Bella partied at Sadelle’s restaurant in New York City. She went all black for her 23rd, wearing a utility jacket and skirt set, cinched at the waist by a buckle belt. She complemented the look with sheer knee-high socks and the Church Platforms by Dr. Martens.
She took her look to another level, adding a mini black handbag, narrow dark shades, and gold hoop earrings by Missoma – giving us a bit of a Matrix vibe. But that wasn’t all, Bella was also photographed with the honorary blinged-out “happy birthday” tiara.
The model was joined by elder sis Gigi, who went for a more of a athleisure look. She wore an oversized cloud-patterned track-suit, which she paired with white sneakers. She finished up her look by adding in a white utility shirt by Aje.
Also present is pop-star, and girlfriend to Gigi and Bella’s younger brother, Dua Lipa. Two months ago, the singer and Anwar Hadid made their relationship Instagram official and they have been inseparable ever since (they even match sometimes). For the celebrations, she opted for a powder blue cropped blazer shirt, black high-waisted jeans, and combat boots.
Gigi and Bella are two of the fashion industry’s most in-demand models and have walked runways together and even had twinning moments far from the cat-walk, so it is safe to say that they are as close as can be. So, it comes as no surprise that Gigi went the extra mile to show her love to Bella on social media.
In honour of her baby sister, Gigi made two separate posts on Instagram. The first is a baby picture of the sisters hugging on the beach, which the 24-year-old captioned: “NTL. @bellahadid DAY MY VERY OWN CUSTOM CABBAGE PATCH KID I RAISED RIGHT FROM THE SEEDLING ! THNX @yolanda.hadid !”
Meanwhile, the second post included a more recent picture of the sister-duo, taken from Gigi’s denim-themed 24th birthday. She wrote: “Wishing the HAPPIEST 23rd year around the sun to my custom bestie sweet sissy @bellahadid Your big heart and contagious light bless every life you touch. I’m lucky and grateful to do it all with you. I LOVE YOU MORE THAN WORDS B. DAY celebrations continue !!! “
