Ahead of the performance, Cheryl, 40, took to Instagram to share a snap of them on the plane.

The Fight For This Love hitmaker threw up a peace sign in the photo and wrote: “Ready for take off.”

She could be seen sitting in front of Nicola, 38, and Kimberley, 42, while Nadine, 38, was behind them.

While excited fans rushed to comment on the snap, some couldn’t help but share concerns of a division in the group.

One wrote: “Why is Nadine always on her own?”

And another said: “Be kind to @nadinecoyle as you three have treated her and the late Sarah terribly over the years.”

It’s no secret that, after the girls split for a second time in 2013, Cheryl, Kimberley and Nicola remained close while Nadine and Sarah Harding – who tragically passed away in 2021 – went their separate ways from the group.

Nadine also took to social media to insist the other girls made the decision to split up while she had wanted to continue.

She wrote: “You should know by now I had no part in any of this split business. I couldn’t stop them. I had the best time and want to keep going.”

Cheryl quickly slammed her claims, saying Nadine was “full of s***” and had asked for a break in 2009 which led to the band’s demise.

She added: “She was the one who wanted to make a solo record. Which is why we took the hiatus. She wants to come out and say we broke the band up? No! She shouldn’t tell porkie pies.”

However the girls have insisted that Sarah’s diagnosis with breast cancer brought them back together.

Kimberley told OK! Magazine: “It’s made us be in contact more regularly than we would normally. As much as this is a tough time for us, it’s nice that it’s given us the drive to spend time together.”

Girls Aloud announced their reunion and plans for a huge UK arena tour towards the end of last year.
