A shiny new restaurant is about to open its doors in Dubai and it already has some famous friends sharing their excitement for the unveiling.
One of them is the father of Bella and Gigi Hadid, Mohamed Hadid, who took to Instagram to give a shoutout to his friend and the Executive Chef of L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon Dubai, Axel Manes.
“So proud of my dearest friend Axel, “ he wrote before adding “Call him by name Axel. Tell him you know me. He will welcome you with open arms.”
The new grandfather to Gigi Hadid’s baby girl has a part to play in the newest restaurant in DIFC as it will be his caviar brand served to the customers. HADID Caviar has numerous celebrity fans and has been intensely vetted for sustainable production practices and the very highest quality.
We don’t need much persuading to book a table at the latest DIFC hotspot that already boasts restaurants across 12 cities, including New York, Paris and London. L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon Dubai will feature an open-plan main dining room floor, a bar area and an expansive outdoor terrace.

Foodies will notice a distinctive Joël Robuchon style, focused on the brand’s signature red and black but elevated with touches of brass and metallic for a modern twist. Sounds like the perfect spot to wear your Louboutins.
The kitchen will be headed up by Manes, one of the youngest chefs to have received a Michelin star, who trained under his mentor for many years. The menu will focus on healthy and seasonal ingredients, selected from over 100 different producers, favouring dishes with only a few elements.
Manes’ authentic cuisine will set the tone for a 2.0 version of Joel Robuchon’s signature dishes, offering the best of French cuisine and the finest of fine dining in a refined yet informal atmosphere. Highlights include a selection of Robuchon’s signature dishes including a crispy poached egg with caviar, truffle pizza, Dover sole à la plancha, and a delicious selection of fish as well as vegetarian ceviches and carpaccios – all prepared in front of the guests.
A business lunch option will also be available from Sunday to Thursday priced at Dhs129 for a three-course menu.
