Wait till you see the line up
Is it us, or is Dubai slowly becoming a hub for alternative festivals? With Sole DXB returning in December, and W – Dubai The Palm recently hosting Wake Up Call Festival, we think so.
The party hotel to end all party hotels – Five Palm Jumeirah – have come up with a three-day lifestyle event that celebrates the best of music, food, art and fashion.
Dubbed ‘LUVYA’ and taking place from December 12, the luxury beachside venue will welcome over forty world-class artists, nine fashion shows, as well as an array of live art and culinary choices.
First of it’s kind in Dubai, festival-goers will be spoilt LUVYA’s music line-up of internationally renowned artists including Craig David, Lost Frequencies and Disciples, who will light up the main stage.
Second stage can be found at The Penthouse where DJ and producer Klingande and London duo, Eli & Fur will take to the decks, with more artists announced soon. Fans of hip hop and R&B can’t miss the Secret Room nightclub which will also host globally famous artists.
Nine catwalks will be dotted around the five-star resort for an array of fashion designers, while local and upcoming artists will create artworks live throughout the three-day extravaganza. LUVYA is completed with a wide choice of international street food including dishes from Japan, China and Italy.
