Listen up music fans, there are several show stopping concerts coming your ways. From international, to regional and even local acts, it seems like 2019 will be a great year for music in the UAE.
The latest addition to your live music calendar is the Why Not! Mazzika Festival, bringing Egypt’s booming indie music scene to Dubai. The festival, which is taking place in November will include: Cairokee, Massar Egbari, Mahmoud El Esseily and Sharmoofers to name a few.

WAKE UP CALL
W Dubai on Palm has become one of the leading party venues in the city and now they are taking it up a notch by introducing WAKE UP CALL music festival to the city. It will take place between October 10-12 with RÜFÜS DU SOL, Rita Ora, and Disclosure headlining.

Can the real slim shady please stand up? One of the world’s most iconic rappers, Eminem is set to bring the heat to Abu Dhabi show at Yas Island’s Du Arena on October 25 as part of his Kamakaze World Tour. This marks seven years since his last performance in the UAE, which was part of the F1 after-race concerts back in 2012. Party in the Park
Party in the Park festival returns for another year, but this time it will be a two-day event with Fatboy Slim, The Kooks and Richard Ashcroft headlining. Taking place at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre, Fatboy Slim will perform on October 31 while The Kooks and Richard Ashcroft will take to the stage on November 1. You’ll be able to purchase separate tickets for Thursday and Friday starting from Dhs160 for early bird, as well as weekend passes at Dhs499. Mica Paris

Why Not! Mazzika Festival
This upcoming music festival promises to bring Egypt’s booming indie music scene to Dubai. The Why Not! Mazzika Festival, will be held in Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena on Saturday, November 22, bringing half a dozen of Egyptian indie acts to the Emirate. American rock group, The Killers are set to bring the heat to the Du Arena on Sunday, December 1. The will join rapper Travis Scott, who will perform a day earlier at the same venue, as part of the four after race concerts to be held during the F1 weekend. The band were founded back in 2001 in Las Vegas, Nevada and is fronted by lead vocalist Brandon Flowers. Their debut album ‘Hot Fuss’ was released in 2004 and became a massive hit, including chart-topping singles such as ‘Mr Brightside’ and ‘Somebody Told Me’. This upcoming concert marks 10 years since their last visit to Abu Dhabi and six years since their Dubai show. Kylie Minogue
The highest-selling Australian artist of all-time and former The Voice UK judge is set to make her return to the UAE in December. Kylie will perform at this year’s Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens, in celebration of the event’s 50th anniversary. The singer and former actress will perform on Friday, December 6. The multi-talented artist has more than 30-years in the music industry under her belt, so fans can expect to hear several of her hits.
