    Breathe clean: Here’s the secret to healthier air at home

    Life

    by Sarah Joseph
    30 mins ago

    Whether at home, in the office, or any indoor space, these devices help reduce the risk of respiratory issues, allergies, and other health concerns to breathe clean. Investing in an air purifier is not just about comfort—it’s about safeguarding your well-being and enhancing your quality of life with every breath and LG has the right option for you.
    For a cleaner environment, LG has introduced Aero Furniture that combines the functionality of home appliances with the aesthetics of furniture, offering a stylish yet practical solution for modern living spaces. This guide will help you highlight the key features and unique aspects of Aero Furniture.
    In today’s world, where air pollution and indoor allergens are on the rise, ensuring clean and fresh air has never been more important. Air purifiers play a crucial role in removing harmful particles such as dust, pollen, pet dander, and even bacteria, creating a healthier living environment.
    To delve into this, Emirates Woman spoke to Youngwon Park, the B2C Air Solution Team Leader, of LG Electronics Gulf, on how the system works.
    What inspired LG to create Aero Furniture as a combination of an air purifier and furniture?
    AeroFurniture was made to save space and reduce clutter. Instead of using separate devices, it combines air purification, mood lighting, wireless charging, and a side table all in one unit. No other brand offers this kind of all-in-one solution.

    How does Aero Furniture differ from traditional air purifiers in both form and function?
    It’s shaped like a side table where you can place items on the top. It can also purify the air in all directions and also can be used to charge your wireless charging phone as well at set the mood with the mood lighting feature. And what’s also great is that it is energy efficient thanks to its inverter motor technology.
    What kind of materials and design elements were prioritised to ensure it blends seamlessly into different interiors?
    The AeroFurniture features a round table design and a clean white finish that blends easily with most home interiors and décor styles. While other colors are available in crème yellow, crème rose and crème white, the crème white model is currently offered in the UAE market.
    How effective are LG air purifiers at removing allergens, dust, and pollutants?
    Our LG air purifiers are equipped with a HEPA 13 filters that are designed to capture airborne bacteria, viruses, pollutants, and fine dust particles that are harmful to our body. It’s is very important for maintaining cleaner and healthier indoor air.
    Can you explain how the 360-degree air purification system works and what sets it apart from other air purifiers?
    It pulls air from all directions, not just one side. Then it spreads clean air evenly around the room, making it feel fresh and healthy wherever you’re seated in the room.
    What considerations were made in balancing aesthetics with functionality?
    LG designed the AeroFurniture to look like part of your home, not a machine. Everything is hidden neatly like the filters, buttons while still giving full air purification performance and added features like lighting and charging.
    Why do air purifiers play a crucial role especially if we’re in closed spaces for long hours?
    Pollution from outside can get trapped inside, making indoor air even worse. Air purifiers remove these harmful particles so we can breathe clean air, especially when staying indoors all day.

    How does Aero Furniture align with the trend of smart, multi-functional home products?
    It’s 4-in-1: air purifier, mood light, wireless charger, and side table. You can also control the device anytime, anywhere using the LG ThinQ application. Making it a perfect fit for smart homes.
    How is this sustainable in the long run?
    Aero Furniture combines multiple functions in one device, saving space, reducing energy use, and cutting down the need for extra appliances. We’re also working on various improvements, so customers can expect the AeroFurniture series to keep evolving with more smart and sustainable features.

    10 of the most fabulous bars in Dubai

    Life

    by Alice Holtham-Pargin
    33 seconds ago

    For master mixology in stunning settings…
    Dubai’s bar scene is vast and varied, from opulent addresses in some of the city’s most iconic hotels, to sultry drinking dens that pair creative mixology with curated soundtracks. So when you’re in the mood to sample Dubai’s best bars, these are the 10 Emirates Woman approved spots to go to.
    1920

    A sophisticated homage to the ritzy glamour of the roaring twenties, aptly named 1920 is perched at the top of ICD Brookfield Place. Pairing jewel-hued interiors with stretching views of the city, it’s a lofty perch with a regular roster of live music from 7pm. The cocktail menu features signature Champagne-based sips like the Gatsby and Madame.
    @1920dubai
    Honeycomb Hi-Fi

    This sleek Izakaya-style listening bar is one of a new wave of independent bars in Dubai with a loyal fan base of those in the know. Part vinyl store, part cocktail bar, its chequered floor, warm lighting and DJ booth nestled within the bar make it the kind of place that quickly packs out several rows deep with those here for music, drinks and good times.
    @honeycombhifi
    Zuma

    Few spots have the all 0ccasions appeal of Zuma, DIFC’s stalwart Japanese restaurant in DIFC. Go for a mid-week business lunch, date night dinner, or weekend brunch and this perenially popular spot’s restaurant will undoubtedly be packed. But for some of the city’s best cocktails – head to the bar. There’s a more chilled ambience in the lounge, or perch up on a stool near the DJ booth for high-octane DJ sets and fabulous drinks.
    @zumadubai
    High Society

    For drinks with a view, it doesn’t get much better than High Society. Perched on the rooftop of The Lana, Dorchester Collection, this is a breezy, contemporary city bar that overlooks the dazzling Downtown skyline. By day, it serves as the hotel’s chic poolside spot, but from sunset, it’s a gorgeous date night destination where tables gaze out over the infinity edge and to the skyscrapers beyond.
    @highsocietyatthelana
    Blind Tiger

    Nestled in the Turtle Lagoon at one of Dubai’s best-known culinary hotels, Jumeirah Al Naseem, Blind Tiger is a bar of understated opulence. There’s a sliver of terrace for those wanting to drink alfresco, but the Art Deco interiors will draw you indoors. With its mirrored ceiling, clashing prints and gold accents, it’s a vibrant spot serving up excellent cocktails and bites.
    @blindtigerdxb
    Bulgari Bar

    An icon of fashion and luxury hospitality, the Bulgari Bar is a well known secret among the city’s style set. Tucked inside Michelin Starred Niko Romito, it’s a grand chrome structure where knowledgeable bartenders shake up an array of unique concoctions. The best seats in the house are found, weather permitting, on the terrace, where you can gaze out over the calm waters of the Marina while basking in the sophisticated setting.
    @bvlgarinikoromitodubai
    Mercury Dubai

    An opulent alfresco bar at Four Seasons Resort Jumeirah, Mercury Dubai is both style and substance. With its ornate gold bar and skyline views, it’s a sensational backdrop with a celestial feel. Sip on refreshing elixirs like Luna Glow, their twist on a Pina Colada, while grazing on sharing plates that perfectly compliment the drinks menu.
    @mercurydubai
    Galaxy Bar

    Under a twinkling canopy of starry lights, the sapphire-hued Galaxy Bar is hidden behind an unassuming wooden door in DIFC’s Gate Village.
