The Dubai Shopping Festival
Nothing compares to retail therapy, so shop your worries away this month while enjoying some incredible deals. January is the best time of the year for shopaholics in Dubai as Dubai Shopping Festival runs annually throughout the month.
LEGO festival
If you are a LEGO’s fan, then you don’t want to miss this festival. Kicking off on Wednesday January 8, the event will run until Saturday March 14. Dubai Festival City Mall’s popular IMAGINE show has been given a LEGO makeover which includes a firework display at 8pm on January 8. So head down there to meet your favourite LEGO characters.
Dine at CÉ LA VI
This long-awaited Singaporean contemporary Asian restaurant is finally opening its doors to the public on January 16. Located on the 54th floor of the newly-opened Address Sky View, the eatery will have an incredible view of the Burj Khalifa, paired with must-try Asian dishes. It will sure be the spot to be seen in Dubai.

Abu Dhabi Classics
Fans of classic music will flock to Abu Dhabi this month to enjoy a week packed full of classical masterpieces. The line-up for Abu Dhabi Classics, 2020 includes the likes of Lebanese vocalist Magida El Roumi and the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra.
Bride Abu Dhabi 2020
If you are getting married soon, then you know that there is no harder decision than what wedding dress to buy. But don’t worry, Abu Dhabi’s Bride 2020 has you covered. Run the annual Dubai Marathon
Run Dubai’s annual 10km marathon to start your morning on the right note. You can take on the full Dubai Marathon or sign up for the 10km race. Starting at 6 am, participating for the 4km race will cost AED 184 and the 10km race will cost AED 313. Meanwhile, to be part of the marathon, you must put forward AED 551.
Dance to Robbie Williams
British superstar and former Take That band member, Robbie Williams is coming to Dubai for an evening filled with some of his greatest hits. He will take to the stage at The Pointe, Palm Jumeirah on January 24 as part of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE)’s Dubai Shopping Festival 2020. Doors open at 4pm with a line-up of DJ’s followed by a magical firework display to welcome Robbie onto the stage later in the evening.
