Which will you vote for?
Earlier this week, UAE leaders announced that 2020 will be the year of preparation for the country’s next 50 years. In spirit of that, they are calling on people to vote for a logo which will represent the country for the next 50 years.
Next decade will mark a new chapter for the Emirates, as it is set to celebrate its Golden Jubilee in 2021. HH Sheikh Mohamed and other UAE leaders branded next year “2020: Towards the next 50” which will revolve on mapping out the next 50 years. In light of this, the Ruler of Dubai took to Twitter to request the help of his followers to choose a logo that will represent the UAE for the next 50 years.

So how can you participate? All you have to do is head over to nationbrand.ae to cast your vote from three options that have been shortlisted. These logos were designed by 49 Emirati artists – seven artists from each of the emirate. Another cool part about the campaign is that for every vote that is cast, a tree will be planted.
Here are the three options:
Option 1
The logo depicts the aesthetics of Arabic calligraphy that reflects authenticity and originality associated with the UAE.
Option 2
Seven lines, shaping the map of the Emirates with the flag colours, represent the future-focused leaders of the seven emirates united towards the country’s growth.
