HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, visited a variety of notable spots around Dubai over the weekend.
His Highness was seen visiting popular hotel Jumeirah Al Naseem, with an entourage who were all wearing masks in line with precautionary measures issued by authorities.
The five-star hotel was recently recognised for its strict health and safety standards, becoming the first hotel in the world to become officially certified for its hygiene practices and was awarded the Bureau Veritas’ Safeguard label – an organisation which is a world leader in testing, inspection and certification services.
In a video posted to the Twitter page, Sheikh Mohammed is seen waving to fellow hotel-goers.

His Highness was also reportedly seen visiting the beach to see the safety arrangements in place and driving around the Jumeirah area.
Sheikh Mohammed’s public appearance out in Dubai comes after restrictions were lifted a couple of weeks ago.
At the end of May, curfew hours were changed from 11pm to 6am. This has led to the gradual opening of many businesses including restaurants, hotels and public beaches.
