Taking things into her own hands
During a time of crisis, Priyanka Chopra is doing what she can to ensure the right information is put forward.
The actress took to Twitter to talk to her fans saying she hoped everyone was safe, adding that she and husband Nick Jonas were on day eight of self-isolation.
Amidst all the chaos of information and potential misinformation spreading about the COVID-19 pandemic, Chopra revealed it was a “scary” time for everyone around the globe but admitted she was wondering what “is real out there and what is not”.

“It’s just all so confusing and overwhelming,” she said in a video.
As a result, the 34-year-old has decided to organise an Instagram Live session on March 19 at 11.30pm UAE time. The actress will be joined by Dr Tedros, the director-general of the World Health Organisation and Maria Van Kerkhove who is the technical lead for COVID-19 at WHO.
Chopra encouraged everyone to leave questions to ask in order to be able to get their hands on the information they want to know.
“You can ask the people who are actually on the frontlines fighting the virus anything you want to know,” she said. “Knowledge is power, guys.
“The more we know, the quicker we can work together to flatten the curve and fight this pandemic that is taking over the world.”
