Lindsay Lohan meets with members of the Dubai Police force

‘God bless’

Lindsay Lohan has thanked both Dubai Police and the UAE government for their efforts during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The actress, who has lived in Dubai for the last six years, took to Instagram to showcase a meeting she had with members of the Dubai Police force.

“I wanted to thank the government of the UAE and the Dubai Police for their continued support during these uncertain times and keeping this country safe,” the 33-year-old captioned her post. “Wishing everyone a blessed month and God bless.”

Ensuring she took all precautions necessary, the actress and singer wore gloves and a protective face mask, paired with a chic black jumpsuit.

In the first photo she posted, Lohan is seen posing with members of Dubai Police, all ensuring distance was kept between each person.

The second photo shows Lohan standing in front a Dubai Police car saluting in appreciation for the authorities.

The final image shows the former child star appearing to hand a brown box to a female police officer, which was perhaps a gift.

A couple of weeks ago, Lohan discussed the measures that had been put in place in the emirate in order to prevent the spreading of coronavirus, with comedian David Space on his show .

“It is very strict here,” the singer explained. “You are not allowed outside, they take it very seriously. Just one person can go out of the house at a time.

“If you do not get approved for a permit — even to go to the supermarket or the grocery store — or you are found without gloves or a mask, or if you surpass 90 minutes [out of your house], you are fined or arrested.”

Lohan, who is a former  cover star, previously opened up about her move to the UAE.

“Moving here was a fresh start,” she told . “You hear more about real current events rather than celebrity gossip, which I really appreciate.”
