Khalid Al Ameri and Salama Mohamed share crucial marriage advice

Khalid Al Ameri and Salama Mohamed have both become well-known for sharing light-hearted and inspiring content online, much of it being very personal to both of them.
Continuing to keep it real and raw with their audience, Khalid has opened up about the “lowest point” in his marriage and sharing his advice on how they overcame it.

Taking to Instagram and sharing a photo of himself and Salama with his 1.2 million followers, the social media personality reflected upon a quote by the Prophet Muhammed, “There is nothing like marriage, for two who love each other.”
ALSO READ: Salama Mohamed’s journey to finding self-love
Relating the quote to his own marriage, the social media personality and content creator explained that the best thing you can do in a relationship is to “silence the noise”.

He went on to explain that in his relationship he used to listen to the noise.

“For so long Salama and I’s marriage wasn’t our marriage, it was everyone else’s, it was relatives who told us what was best, it was ‘friends’ who told us what we should do come out the strongest amongst each other, it was people we didn’t even know that we were trying to be like because they fit in,” he said.
This eventually caused the couple to grow apart.
“We grew so far apart that we no longer knew why were together, it was the lowest point of our marriage, until we decided to try something new, and that was to put ourselves and our love for each other first, and everything else second,” he added.
Putting each other first and silencing other people’s thoughts around them was what turned things around for the couple. As Khalid simply said, it is their marriage and “nobody else’s”.
He finished his post saying, “We are the ones who wake up and go to sleep next to each other every day and every night, we are the ones who want to be together for the rest of our lives, just us together, with a love stronger that the noise of others.”
It’s definitely sound advice to live by.

This is what Prince Harry is doing with the funds he won from ‘defamatory’ story

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle aren’t here for fake news and the spreading of false rumours.
Just recently, the Duchess of Sussex was forced to make a statement clarifying rumours that she had her birth name removed from her son Archie’s birth certificate.

As of late, the Duke of Sussex has also been in the midst of a battle to clear his name after a publication falsely stated in a “defamatory” story he had “turned his back” on the British Royal Marines after he stepped down from public royal duties in January last year with Meghan.

Britain’s Prince Harry has won an apology and substantial damages from the publishers of the Mail on Sunday newspaper https://t.co/5w5QuyRY02 pic.twitter.com/2FATJGUNMu
    — Reuters (@Reuters) February 1, 2021

An article published by the Mail on Sunday stated that since Harry had left the UK for North America he had “not been in touch” with the armed forces following his farewell royal tour in March last year.
Settling the matter in court, Harry has agreed to accept “substantial damages” from the publisher, which he will be donating to the Invictus Games Foundation, an organisation he founded back in 2014.
“The duke is personally donating the significant damages recovered from this legal resolution to the Invictus Games Foundation,” a Sussex spokesperson told Harper’s Bazaar US, adding that “the duke’s commitment to the military community is unquestionable”.
    Meghan clears things up
Earlier this week, the Duchess of Sussex once again had to defend herself against tabloid gossip, this time it’s surrounding her son’s birth certificate.
It was reported by UK tabloid The Sun over the weekend that the Duchess of Sussex had taken “unprecedented action” to remove her birth names from Archie’s birth certificate.
What previous read as ‘Rachel Meghan Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Sussex’ then became to be just ‘Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Sussex.
However, not letting rumours run rife, the former Suits actress issued a statement via a spokesperson hitting back at the report.
In fact, according to Meghan, the change of name on the documents was “dictated by the Palace”.

From a spokesperson for Duchess Meghan: https://t.co/TuXZPRytC7 pic.twitter.com/ZyFvceqBDs
    — Omid Scobie (@scobie) January 31, 2021

“The change of name on public documents in 2019 was dictated by The Palace, as confirmed by documents from senior Palace officials,” a spokesperson clarified. “This was not requested by Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex nor by The Duke of Sussex.”
In her statement, the Sussex camp also branded the report “deceptive”.
“To see this U.K. tabloid and their carnival of so-called ‘experts’ chose to deceptively whip this into a calculated family ‘snub’ and suggest that she would oddly want to be nameless on her child’s birth certificate, or any other legal document, would be laughable were it not offensive,” the spokesperson said.
“There’s a lot going on in the world; let’s focus on that rather than creating clickbait.”

After the meeting on Monday, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed shared an update on the Hope Probe, as well as the UAE’s development in space and science.

“My brother Mohammed bin Rashid and I discussed our national achievements, particularly in space and science, and our pride in the nation’s youth,” he said on Twitter.

We are 9 days away from the arrival of UAE’s Hope probe to Mars in the first Arab interplanetary mission. The UAE will be the 5th nation to reach the Red Planet. The probe has a 50% success rate in entering Mars’ orbit, but we achieved 90% of our goals in building new knowledge.

“The UAE will be the 5th nation to reach the Red Planet. The probe has a 50% success rate in entering Mars’ orbit, but we achieved 90% of our goals in building new knowledge.”
    What is the Hope Probe?
At the beginning of 2020 Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed signed the remaining outer piece for the probe which will launch into space.
The probe is being spearheaded by the UAE in order to gain a full picture on what the atmosphere of Mars is like. It is expected the Hope Probe will take an estimated 200 days to arrive on Mars. Once the probe reaches the planet in 2021, data will be collected over a two-year period, but this could be extended by another two years meaning the Hope Probe has the potential to be in space until 2025.
