Our style icon
When you think of style icons from the Middle East, it is hard not to think of Jordan’s Queen Rania. The Royal is always on point, rocking every ensemble and her latest appearances are a proof of that. Whether she is wearing a Graphic tee or holding fashionistas favourite Bottega Veneta, she always looks as elegant and stylish as ever.
On Sunday, the Queen paid a visit to the Amman Design Week (ADW)’s offices. During her trip, she decided to show her support to ADW by sporting one of their limited edition shirts. She wore a black graphic T-shirt, which features an illustration of her husband King Abdullah II and their son Crown Prince Al Hussein. She paired the shirt with a light blue maxi skirt looking casual and elegant.
During her visit, the Queen was briefed on Amman Design Week’s final preparations before the nine-day citywide event kicks off. Carrying the theme “Possibilities,” ADW 2019 will include events and exhibitions from more than 50 participating spaces across Amman. The event’s director, Rana Beiruti, explained that the program’s third edition which will be taking place from October 4th to 12th, will be centered in three main districts; Ras El Ain, Jabal Amman, and Jabal Al-Weibdeh.
A day later, the Royal visited a carnival organised by the Eye on the Future initiative, which provides guidance to students on how to determine their future university majors based on their interests and strengths. During her visit, Queen Rania wore an asymmetrical baby blue blouse from Tibi, which she paired with wide leg cream pants. She complimented her oversized look by adding a Lafayette 148 New York leather and linen belt to highlight her waist. Our favourite part of the Queen’s look was the tan Bottega Veneta bag.
