There’s a luxury floating hotel coming to Dubai

A new Dhs600 million project is underway to create a new floating hotel in Dubai.

Set to be located in the waters of Dubai Marina, the new resort will be known as the Sea Palace Floating Resort, developed by Seagate Shipyard and El Bahrawy Group.

Discussing the new project, Mohamed El Bahrawy of El Bahrawy Group explained that the construction is nearing completion.

As well as the resort, the new development features six luxury homes, all of which are 95 per cent complete.

“The remaining work will be finished in a month, while the whole project is around 65 per cent complete,” El Bahrawy says.

The lavish homes are currently on the market for Dhs20 million. One has even already been purchased by a Dubai-based entrepreneur.

The villas are the epitome of luxury featuring a private swimming pool, lavish kitchen, rooftop and more, and the interiors were all designed by Aston Martin, luxury sports car brand.

However, the most amazing part of all is that the villas don’t need to stay put in one place, they can quite literally turn into yachts. So, if you get bored of the Dubai Marina view, you can easily switch things up and set sail as you see fit.
