4 new restaurants to try in Dubai this weekend

With the restaurant business getting back on track after effectively being closed for three months due to COVID-19, many old favourites are beginning to open up.

However, there are also some new eateries that have opened in Dubai that are on ‘s must-try list.

Whether you’re feeling like an upscale dining out experience, a Japanese fusion eatery or some good old fashion pizza, these four new launches in Dubai have got you covered.

French Riviera

While summer plans to the south of France are officially on hold, enjoy the next best thing with Jumeriah group’s latest restaurant opening – French Riviera. Located on the stunning oceanfront at Jumeriah Al Qasr, enjoy a Cote D’Azur dining experience. With this French-inspired menu, there’s plenty of seafood on offer, as well as tasty pasta dishes.

There’s also a fabulous brunch on offer every Friday and Saturday. The new eatery’s ‘Bleu, Blanc, Rouge’ brunch is available from 1pm to 3pm and packages start at Dhs295.

While this gem has in fact been open since February, it barely had time to get the ground running before lockdown measures were put into place. The Rainer Becker’s award-winning robatayaki concept was previously offering delivery for those wanting a restaurant experience at home, but now you can officially enjoy it with all the restaurant trimmings as ROKA has officially reopened.

The baby sister to popular eatery Zuma, ROKA is located in the ME Hotel at The Opus in Business Bay. Their specially curated menu includes signature dishes from the robata such as yakitori-negima yaki, robata grilled chicken skewers with spring onion and the Kankoku fu kohitsuji, flavorsome lamb cutlets with Korean spices and sesame cucumber. This is only the tip of the iceberg for this fabulous eatery’s menu.
