When you think of something “off the runway,” it’s essentially synonymous with mind-boggling expensive. But that reputation is at least somewhat unwarranted, as not every collection touts price tags that are equivalent to shelling one of your limbs.
Exhibit A: H&M’s SS20 Studio Collection. During Fashion Month, the retailer debuts a collection of pieces that are debuted on the runway and sold for prices even the non-royals amongst us can afford. Launching today, the 45-piece collection is inspired by a research trip to the Swedish island of Gotland (known as the equivalent of “Swedish Hawaii.”) According to their website, “The H&M Studio SS20 collection celebrates the carefree surf girl—one who mixes sporty swimsuits with voluminous dresses and statement platform leather boots.”

Featuring bold colors, textures, and effortless silhouettes, the collection is a taste of this summer’s trends to come. With dominant colors like hot pink and cobalt blue, the collection isn’t for the faint of heart but has a wide variety of statement pieces that will make the perfect addition to any summer wardrobe (yes, even for you, neutral lovers). Warning: these collections always sell out fast.
H&M’s Spring ’20 Studio Collection is available online and in select stores beginning on February 20th.
