A sanctuary of serene: How Samsara Tribe redefined the idea of a wellness studio in Dubai

    Life

Dubai-based wellness studio Samsara Tribe celebrated its first anniversary on 2 May with a community class and floral workshop, while announcing plans to expand its offerings with mat Pilates classes and retreats.
The boutique yoga studio, located in Dubai Marina, has attracted a loyal following since opening in May 2024 with its focus on mindful movement and sustainable practices. Founder
Evgeniya Mosunova created Samsara Tribe with a singular intention: to build a space where people could take off the mask of productivity and reconnect with something more essential.“We didn’t set out to become a brand,” she shares. “We set out to create a feeling—a place that helps people remember who they are beneath the noise.”

The anniversary event reflected the studio’s ethos, featuring a group yoga session followed by a therapeutic flower arrangement workshop. Attendees gathered at the in-house Samsara Café, which serves organic teas and plant-based snacks.
Looking ahead, the studio will introduce mat Pilates classes this month, focusing on core strength and postural alignment. Future plans include local and international retreats, along with workshops on journaling and sound therapy.
Sustainability remains central to Samsara’s operations, with cork yoga mats, reusable water bottles, and energy-efficient design. The studio plans additional eco-conscious initiatives, including partnerships with sustainable brands.

The studio has also gained attention for its unique programming, including full moon meditation circles and seasonal detox workshops. These offerings complement its core schedule of vinyasa, yin, and hatha yoga classes taught by internationally certified instructors.
As Dubai’s wellness industry continues to grow, Samsara Tribe distinguishes itself through its quiet, intentional approach. “The vision for Samsara has always been to evolve with integrity. To listen to what people need—and create space for it, ” shares Mosunova.

The studio currently serves thousands of clients annually and expects the new Pilates offering to expand its reach. Early registration for the Pilates program has already exceeded expectations, with waitlists forming for the first sessions. This strong response confirms the market’s appetite for Samsara’s mindful approach to movement and wellness.

7 cultural spots that define Dubai’s heritage

    Life

After unifying in 1971, the UAE has come a long way and there are several cultural spots that mark its rich heritage.
In Dubai, there are many sites that display the nation’s history and pay homage to where it all began.
As an ode to the UAE’s long-standing cultural heritage, here are seven renowned sites to visit in Dubai.
    Coffee Museum

Designed to pay homage to the UAE’s coffee culture, this concept features different roasting and brewing styles close to the country’s heritage. From Middle Eastern techniques to a wide selection of coffee documentaries, visitors are educated about the ins and outside of its historical significance in Dubai. Located in Al Fahidi in Bur Dubai, this heritage hub promises a relaxing atmosphere with traditional regional architecture.

Designed to highlight the nation’s history and how the seven emirates came to unity 1971, this heritage site displays a fascinating collection of artefacts. The museum is a masterful tribute to the manuscripts on which the union agreement was originally signed. With key photographs and interactive audio-visual exhibits, visitors can experience the UAE’s archival symbolism in a creative manner. Located in Jumeriah St. 1, it’s open daily from 10am to 8pm.

Additionally, visitors can discover the colourful textile market in the heart of Bur Dubai.
    Hatta Heritage Village

Go back in time to the life of ancient villagers with a host of citadels, forts and towers in Dubai’s mountain town. With springs and lush valleys, visitors can experience the life of villagers who have adopted a sustainable technique of living. To visit nature’s beauty first-hand, the Hatta Dam provides activities such as kayaking for that picturesque spot. From pearl diving to fishing, light is shed upon ancient occupation and other archaeological finds. The galleries recreate scenes from the creek, traditional Arab houses, mosques, the souk, date farms and desert and marine life. Again, the museum is situated in the Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood. Built in 1787, this fort was once the monarch’s base and highlights the history of the UAE.

9 Useful Self-Care Apps For Wellness To Download Now

As a long-time wellness writer who’s seen many wellness trends come, go and return, I’ve seen plenty of self-care apps. From all-in-one life organisers to weight loss trackers to meditation apps, I’ve tried an above-average amount. That’s probably because I have ADHD and anxiety, which makes handling tasks and processing emotions extremely difficult for me.Self-care apps are actually amazing: even simple ones, like a journal app or ones that help you fall asleep faster are super useful, since these little habits (good sleep hygiene and regular journalling) can have huge payoffs in your mental health. From my experience, these apps have helped me re-centre in times of overwhelm, help make life easier, and either don’t accost you to buy the paid package or deliver a really great offering for a good price (or for free!).For Meditation: Insight TimerInsight Timer App

Price: FREE; Premium from R1 095

My therapist asked me to try meditation for years, and two years ago I finally caved and have been using this app ever since. It’s also one of the few apps in this world that almost never blocks your interaction with a paid members-only paywall. It’s clear this app is actually for the betterment of everyone’s mental health.

Each check-in, you’re presented with a mindful quote, followed by an invitation to note what you’re grateful for and set an intention. Content includes meditations for mornings, midday and evenings, plus for self-esteem, nervous system regulation and more. It also has a built-in sleep timer, so you can drift off sans blue light.

Premium unlocks courses on meditation, inner child work, compassion and more. Plus also has offline listening, and better audio quality.

Price: FREE, Premium from R1 166

It’s here. It’s finally here. After years of wishful thinking, you can now snap a photo of your meal and let AI track the calories. I love this app for a few reasons. First, I don’t have to sit like an accountant three times a day calculating the weight and calories. Second, it takes the focus away from me. Instead of feeding myself, each meal photo feeds my pet raccoon, Pesto. (You can call him whatever you want.) He comments on every meal, and no matter what I feed him, he still says he loves me. Bless.

Tracker can state your calorie intake or leftover, or you can switch modes so it only shows you a colour-graded score based on nutrition, perfect for a less numbers-focused approach.

Premium unlocks a tracker for macros, statistics of your habits and personalised nutrition tips. It also lets you know how you can improve each meal.

For Working Through Emotions: WysaWysa App

Price: FREE, Premium from R125 per month

Working through difficult emotions is difficult when you don’t have the tools. Deep breathing doesn’t cut it and your therapist isn’t exactly a phone call away.

Wysa is an AI that can work through your feelings by asking guiding questions to help you sort through your feelings and underlying issues and create an action plan to get through them. There is an option to pay for a digital therapist (human!), but the whole point of the app for me is that I don’t need to pay therapy fees. There are a few guides for aspects of mental health, like gaining energy, better self-esteem and more.

Premium unlocks exercises to build confidence, improve productivity and more.

Price: FREE, Premium from R91 per month

This app helps me a ton, as a person with ADHD. You can list up to five tasks per day, and each is colour-coded. You can also set the frequency of habits, since not everything needs to be done every single day. You can even add some super basic tasks, like having a shower and brushing your teeth, just to start your day with a dopamine boost and create the impetus to complete the rest of your tasks. I kept using this app until I didn’t need to tick things off anymore and would re-download it should I need it.

Premium unlocks insights based on your habits, a calendar overview and extra slots to add more than five tasks.

For Anxiety & Depression: stoic.stoic. App

Price: FREE, Premium from R800 annually

This app is like a guided journal that’s less about gushing over your crush and more about healing. Includes breathing exercises, meditation, quotes and affirmations. It’s a plain, monotone app without any frills, so it feels like you have space to breathe. Each entry can also be guided with tons of prompts that promote deeper engagement with your psyche.

Premium unlocks daily prompts, guided journalling, and all exercises unlocked. Premium + AI includes AI to analyse your entries and custom prompts based on your focuses.

For Mindful Movement: DowndogDowndog Yoga App

Price: FREE, Premium from R183 per month

This is one of the few apps I’ve actually paid for. It’s my favourite yoga app and they’ve released partner apps for Pilates, HIIT and more. There’s always a flow to suit your needs: cardio flow with tons of chaturangas, strength flows that pair yoga with strength training bursts and flows for bedtime as well as meditation. There are traditional flows, too: Hatha, Yin, Nidra, Vinyasa and Ashtanga. A big, big plus: the music! I use the Alt Beats setting and love moving to a song that’s in my own playlist.

Premium unlocks customisable workouts by focusing on different fitness areas like flexibility, glute or core strength or arm balances.

READ MORE: “I’m A Yoga Instructor And Do These 8 Moves To Open My Hips And Loosen Tight Lower-Body Muscles.”For Mindful Movement: Nike Run ClubNike Running Club App

    Price: FREE

Yes, I see this specific app as a big one in the self-care apps category. As someone who runs for emotional release, the guided runs and the app’s overall approach to running are very welcome. I’ve been following the Get Started plan, which includes guided runs for every foray. It’s really nice having an encouraging coach in my ear who’s only goal is to help me enjoy running, no PBs, no technical obsessions, just loving being outside. And obvs, the Headspace runs are gold. Huge thanks to Nike for never asking us to pay for it and still having it be a well-looked-after app. Very cool.

For Journalling: Day OneDay One Journal App

Price: FREE; Premium from R53 per month

I’m sure everyone’s heard of this app, much like NRC and Downdog. What I love? It’s interactive: add photos, journal from a location in the app (there’s a built-in map) and it allows you to journal from your laptop or phone (this feature is in the paid membership). What’s great is that each fresh entry has a prompt for reflection. Some examples: “What is a recent moment I want to remember?”; “How is today different from other days?”; “What is a belief I’ve questioned?”

Premium unlocks unlimited photos and videos, time-saving features, and journal customisations.

    For Brain Gains: purplepurple App

    Price: FREE

I added a game because mindlessness is as important as mindfulness. Self-care is also about improving yourself, and purple, created by Belgian game developer Bart Bonte, is a mind-bending game that forces you to think laterally, diagonally, in a zig-zag and in every other way. I can’t say much else except it’s nothing like any other puzzle game you’ll play. Cognitive decline: beat it. (It turns out he’s made several other games: Yellow, Red, Black, Blue, Green and Pink.)

Inside Dinner by Heston Dubai with Head Chef Chris Malone

Chris Malone honours heritage and elevates the everyday at Dinner by Heston Blumenthal Dubai.
Tell us about your journey into the culinary world – when did you know you wanted to be a chef?
I was young, around five or six years old, when I first realised, I wanted to be a chef. We would visit my grandparents most Sundays, and the table would always have a spread of wholesome food, with everyone gathered around it, connecting and smiling. There was an immediate connection between me and food from that point. I was so interested; it sparked a creative environment for whoever was cooking, and I became intrigued, especially by the creative side. I convinced myself that all I wanted to be was a chef, and it stuck with me. I was certain that as soon as I graduated high school, I would find a way into a kitchen and become a chef. As soon as I graduated, I began my career at 15 with a four-year apprenticeship at Fraser’s in Kings Park, Perth. By the time I reached the age of 21, I was already being recognised by the industry, which was an amazing moment. In 2017, I was named Australian Chef of the Year. After spending time in some of the most incredible restaurants in Western Australia, chef Daniel Humm invited me to join him and the team at the three-Michelin-starred Eleven Madison Park in New York. From there, I continued to push my own limits and journeyed to London to join Daniel’s next venture, the Michelin-starred Davies and Brook at Claridge’s, after which I secured an opportunity at a new luxury hotel chain, NoMad. After I worked on the launch of NoMad, I took the leap to come to Dubai, where I have been at the helm of Ossiano, supported the pre-opening and opening of Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, as well as FZN by Björn Frantzén.
What drew you to say yes to Dinner by Heston’s Dubai chapter?
Heston Blumenthal has always been an influential and inspirational figure throughout my culinary journey-starting from the early days when I began working as a chef in 2010, if not earlier. At the time, Heston was on MasterChef Australia, The Fat Duck was in its absolute prime, and his molecular gastronomy was everywhere. His impact and what he was doing played a big role in my journey as a young chef. So when the opportunity came up for Dinner by Heston Blumenthal in Dubai, I thought-absolutely. To join Heston would be an incredible opportunity.
How do you lead in a high-pressure, Michelin-starred kitchen?
Stay calm, lead by example, teach and inspire. In some Michelin-starred kitchens, there’s incredibly high pressure to maintain the standard and attention to detail – but I don’t believe that’s the only way to lead. Having learned this first-hand, I’ve always found that you get the most out of your team, and achieve more, by respecting, empowering, and nurturing them – always leading with graciousness. I aim to foster a truly empowering kitchen environment; I’m incredibly passionate about the next generation of chefs and want to see them rise, grow, develop, and succeed. To sum it up, my leadership ethos is: gentle pressure.

What defines your style on the plate – is there a signature you’re known for?
In three words, when it comes to flavour: fresh, vibrant, and acidic. I also believe that you should let beautiful ingredients speak for themselves and allow the product to shine on the plate. To make this happen, it’s important to invest in using the best seasonal ingredients. At Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, we source and select the finest products we can – and do as little to them as possible – to truly let the ingredients shine.
What’s been the biggest surprise about Dubai’s dining scene?
Over the past four years, it has been incredible to witness how the dining scene has grown – both dynamically and organically. There’s been a noticeable shift, with a rise in homegrown concepts that are championing creativity. This, combined with the arrival of global names, has attracted talented chefs from all over the world who want to be part of the movement. What these chefs are creating and putting on plates is simply incredible.
What’s the most theatrical dish you’ve ever worked on?
The one-bite Aerated Beetroot, which disappears in a split second, is a creation from The Fat Duck menu – and it takes three days to make. To begin, we take baby beetroot, juice it (as the sugar content is higher and the flavour less earthy), and then reduce it. We use a kitchen-use rotovap – a high-tech piece of equipment that looks like it belongs in a laboratory. It’s essentially a water bath set to 30 degrees. There’s a glass sphere into which we pour the beetroot juice; the device pressurises and spins the liquid, allowing us to lower its boiling point. We then whip the juice into a meringue, which is piped and dehydrated. The final result resembles a small aero ball – crispy and delicate – filled with horseradish cream and served in a single bite.

What’s the one rule you always follow in the kitchen – no matter where you are in the world?
Taste everything. This is absolutely crucial – especially when you’re stepping up in a Michelin kitchen and working within larger brigades. You need to ensure consistency in every aspect; for example, when an ingredient is being reduced, you need to taste it to ensure the salt level hasn’t intensified. At Dinner, we’re constantly tasting. Before every service, the whole team is involved in a full tasting of everything on the menu.
What keeps you inspired beyond the kitchen?
Running and travelling are things I turn to in order to stay inspired – exploring different cities and cultures, and trying new food. I try to travel as much as I can to experience the world beyond the kitchen. I also run quite a lot; it’s the perfect way to stay fit and healthy, while providing mental clarity amidst the stresses of day-to-day life.
What’s next for you – are there any new dishes or ideas you’re excited to bring to Dinner by Heston?
We are currently celebrating 30 Years of the Fat Duck, and to pay homage to the restaurant we are featuring a different creation from The Fat Duck each month as part of our tasting menu until August. Culinary highlights include the Turbot Veronique (c. 2005) which is on the menu until 19th May, it pairs Muscat grapes, mussels and parsley. Another standout worth mentioning is The Alfonso Mango (c. 2001), a distinctive dish that combines pine nuts and mango stems, this showcases Heston’s exploration of molecular gastronomy, this dish will be available exclusively in May. In July we will be unveiling the Scallop, White Chocolate, and Caviar (c. 2024) which is a bold and uncommon flavour pairing, guests should be excited about this one. Looking at the bigger picture, I’m looking to refine the entire guest experience, beyond the kitchen, from efficiency to the food development. I am working extremely closely with James ‘Jocky’ Petrie, Group Culinary Director of The Fat Duck Group to provide insight on how we can make Dinner by Heston Dubai a different experience to the one in London, by using our creativity with produce whilst aligning with the DNA of dinner.

The Surprising Way Your Menstrual Cycle Affects Your Smile

There’s a lot of talk about the ups and downs of women’s menstrual cycle – cramps, mood swings, skin breakouts – but have you ever considered how your period might be affecting your smile? That’s right – those monthly hormonal fluctuations don’t just mess with your mood or skin; they can have a surprisingly big impact on your oral health too. Dr Ockert Bekker, Founder and Dental Surgeon at Bekker Dental & Aesthetics, breaks down how menstrual cycles affect oral health. The Connection Between Menstrual Cycles And Oral HealthThroughout the female menstrual cycle, levels of oestrogen and progesterone rise and fall. These hormones influence everything from your energy levels to your appetite, but they also affect the blood flow to your gums and how your body responds to plaque (the buildup on your teeth).During certain phases of your cycle, especially the days leading up to your period, you may notice:Gum Sensitivity: Your gums might feel tender, extra sensitive, or even bleed when you brush. That’s because increased hormone levels can cause your gums to become more inflamed.

Gum Swelling: You might even see a bit of puffiness along your gum line. This is due to your body’s heightened inflammatory response during the luteal phase (after ovulation and before your period).

Bad Breath: As if cramps weren’t enough, some women also report a not-so-fresh feeling in their mouths during their period. Changes in hormone levels can alter the bacterial balance in your mouth, which may contribute to less pleasant breath.READ MORE: How To Boost Your Fitness By Tailoring Your Exercise Routine To Your Menstrual CycleYour Mouth’s Monthly CycleHere’s a short summary of how your smile might change during your monthly cycle, per Dr Bekker: Menstruation (Days 1-5): Gums may feel sore or inflamed; bad breath more noticeable for some.

Follicular Phase (Days 6-14): Things calm down – this is often when your gums feel their best.

Ovulation (Around Day 14): Hormones peak – some women experience mild gum sensitivity.

Luteal Phase (Days 15-28): Progesterone rises, leading to puffiness and/or bleeding gums in some cases.READ MORE: Yes, Poor Oral Health Is Strongly Linked To Serious Disease How To Support Your Oral HealthWhile you can’t pause your cycle, you can stay ahead of hormonal oral changes with a few smart habits:Stay Consistent with Oral Hygiene: Brush twice a day (be gentle if your gums are sore), floss daily, and rinse with an alcohol-free mouthwash. I can highly recommend Curaprox Perio Plus Mouthwash Balance. If floss isn’t for you, a water flosser might be a good solution. Waterpik Water Flosser is a favourite amongst our patients.

Snack Smart: Sugary cravings during your period? Try healthier alternatives like fruit or nuts: they are less likely to feed bacteria in your mouth.

Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate: Water helps flush bacteria and keeps your mouth from getting dry – a common cause of bad breath.

Don’t Skip the Dentist: Let your dentist know if you notice a pattern of gum issues around your cycle; extra care can be recommended.

See a Professional: If your gum issues are severe, consistent, or worsening with every cycle, it’s a good idea to book an appointment with your dentist or oral hygienist. Hormonal changes are normal, but they shouldn’t make smiling painful. The human body is beautifully complex, and your oral health is part of that picture. The more you understand how your menstrual cycle affects your smile, the better you can care for yourself all month long. So next time you notice your gums acting up, don’t panic. It might just be your hormones talking — and your body reminding you to show your smile some love.READ MORE: ‘Why Do I Have Smelly, White Chunks In My Mouth?’By Dr Ockert Bekker, Founder and Dental Surgeon at Bekker Dental & Aesthetics

How Meta is empowering a new wave of MENA content creators

Joana Jamil, Strategic Partner Manager of Global Partnerships at Meta, shares the newest content creators in the region and what they look for in the next big thing.
Who are some of the most exciting emerging content creators in the region right now?
I’m really inspired by the wave of creativity we’re seeing from emerging content creators in the region right now. There are lots of incredible emerging regional talents such as Raghad Zamell, Osama Chabbi, Taliaa Fawaz, and Jana Al Hafar, just to name a few. What’s so exciting is how diverse and innovative this new generation is – there’s a vibrant mix of storytellers, artists, and voices who are using our Meta platforms to share authentic perspectives and connect with audiences in fresh ways. From Reels that capture cultural moments to Threads diving deep into local issues, they’re not just creating content but building communities and sparking meaningful conversations. It’s less about names for me and more about the collective energy and passion driving this movement forward – it’s a dynamic time for creativity in our region.

How is Meta supporting Arabic-first or culturally rooted content?
Over the course of the last three years we have collaborated with dozens of Arabic-speaking creators from the region – both emerging voices and well-established talent – including the likes of Amina Hussein, Amro Maskoun, Yara Bou Monsef, Omar Farooq, Dolly Dib, Mina AlSheikhly, Eisa Al Habib, and many others. What we’ve seen time and again is that when creators are empowered to express themselves in ways that are authentic to this region’s culture and audience, the content resonates more deeply. We recently launched Meta AI in Arabic, a major step toward more inclusive and personalised digital experiences empowering our region’s Arabic-first creators with a tool that feels natural and relevant to their daily lives.
What sets the new generation of MENA creators apart from global counterparts?
What sets MENA’s new creators apart is their authentic celebration of our rich culture, history, traditions, and diversity, which resonates globally and allows them to seamlessly weave these elements into their content. For instance, just last month, the spirit of Ramadan’s unity was beautifully woven into creators’ content, as seen in the work of Chef Leyla, YusurAlKhaildi, and Cybele Haddad, among others who specialise in diverse content areas such as food, fitness, lifestyle, and fashion. Moreover, domestic tourism is experiencing an unprecedented surge across MENA countries, enabling travel and lifestyle creators like Dolly Dib to uncover hidden gems in their own countries and neighbouring ones. By leveraging Meta platforms, including Meta AI for creative storytelling, these creators skillfully blend Arabic heritage with a universal vibe, rendering their content both distinctly regional and globally relatable.
What advice would you give to aspiring creators trying to stand out to the Meta team?
Aspiring creators should show up with intent. Have a clear vision for the stories you want to tell. Be consistent, posting regularly to build your presence across Reels or Threads. Educate yourself about Meta’s tools – explore features like Meta AI to boost your creativity. Above all, find your unique voice, stay authentic, and bring original ideas. That dedication and know-how will make you shine.

How important is authenticity versus aesthetics in today’s creator economy?
Authenticity and aesthetics both play meaningful roles – and finding the right balance really depends on the audience, the creator’s niche, and what they’re trying to achieve. For some communities, especially in areas like design, photography, fashion or film, aesthetics aren’t just about how content looks – it’s part of the creator’s craft, talent and self-expression. In those cases, a well-curated feed can be a powerful storytelling tool. At the same time, we’re seeing a clear shift on Instagram toward more authenticity. People are increasingly drawn to content that feels real and relatable rather than overly polished. This is reflected in the rise of trends like “photo dumps” and “Add Yours,” as well as features like Stories, Close Friends, and Remix, which make it easier for users to share everyday moments and connect on a more personal level. Ultimately, the beauty of today’s creator economy is that there’s room for both. Whether you’re a visual artist with a carefully curated aesthetic or someone sharing spontaneous, behind-the-scenes candid moments, Instagram is a platform where all types of creativity can thrive.
How is Meta helping shape the future of content creation in the region?
At Meta, we’re seeing incredible momentum in the creator economy across the Middle East, and we’re committed to supporting that growth. Content creation today is being shaped by a multitude of new tools, interactive formats, and ways to connect with the audience – and we are right at the center of that transformation. One of the biggest shifts is the rise of AI tools in the creative process which not only helps to massively accelerate the production and take care of the time consuming tasks but also takes creativity to the next level. With our recent launch of Meta AI in the MENA region, we’ve made it easier than ever for creators to brainstorm ideas, generate visuals, write scripts, and edit content – all directly within the platforms they already use, like Instagram and Facebook. With upcoming features like Imagine Me, Imagine Edit and Voice Translation right within Reels we hope to unlock new levels of creative freedom, allowing creators to be more expressive and productive, while reaching a global audience. We’re also constantly rolling out updates that give creators more ways to tell stories – with new fonts, stickers, editing tools, and experimental formats like Trial Reels which lets creators test their content’s performance before going fully live. These continuous updates are designed to help creators test content, engage their audience more deeply, and refine their voice. Beyond the tools, we’re focused on empowering creators as entrepreneurs – whether through monetisation features, branded content tools, or community-building campaigns like Trendships, which celebrate how creators foster meaningful cultural moments and connections through relatable content.
Are there initiatives, grants, or programmes Meta offers to help boost emerging voices?
We always say that creators are central to our platforms – their creativity powers connection over content. We are regularly collaborating with both emerging and well-established creators to help them amplify their voices, grow their influence and spark new ideas within the Instagram community. For instance, we annually spotlight a number of resonant creators who are making a significant impact on Instagram through our global Creators of Tomorrow programme. We also support creators with programmes such as Creators for Purpose, which we’ve announced recently in partnerships with CreatorsHQ in Dubai with the goal to support and elevate 5 creators with their philanthropic missions. We also partner with global and regional brands to give regional creators exposure and opportunities tocollaborate on a global scale. We understand that creators are entrepreneurs and want to turn their passions into a steady income, so building tools to help them make money on our platforms is a key priority for us. Advertisers are drawn to creators for their ability to authentically tell stories and engage audiences and we ensure that both creators and businesses know how to take full advantage of brand opportunities on our platforms. We’ve developed Instagram’s branded content tools and Creator Marketplace, where creators and brands can more easily connect and collaborate on a regular, sustainable basis. We are also constantly updating our learning resources like the Creator Lab, @creators, creators.instagram.com or Instagram For Business pages with best practices, product news and tips and tricks.
This is The Discovery Issue – what has been the most surprising discovery in your career?
My biggest discovery is how a win-win mindset transforms everything. I thought career success meant outworking everyone. But I’ve found that serving others – giving my all, never halfway – ignites real magic. When I pour my heart into empowering creators, I win too. It’s not just work; it’s my fire. That ‘serve first’ spark has opened doors and changed me forever.
