Congrats to the beautiful couple!
Last night, after months of anticipation and secrecy, Egyptian actors Ahmed Fahmy and Hana El Zahed got married. Held at one of Cairo’s fanciest hotels and attended by some of the biggest names in the industry, the wedding didn’t disappoint.
The beautiful bride looked like a Disney Princess, making her entrance in a ball gown. Hana wore an cream coloured off-shoulder dress, which featured embellishments. The dress, designed by Egyptian couturier, Samo Hagras is what dreams are made off. The 25-year-old met her groom at a castle shaped altar, with Ahmed looking as charming as ever in his white suit.
What seems to be a norm in most celebrity weddings now (just look at Elie Goulding), Hana had a wardrobe change mid-reception. For her second look, the actress opted for a tighter design, a better option for dancing. The mermaid dress, which featured long sleeves that flowed to the ground was also designed by Samo Hagras. Meanwhile, Ahmed traded in his white suit for a black tuxedo.
Moreover, it wouldn’t be a celebrity wedding without superstar performances. Egyptian singer Mohamed Hamaki was among the performers, singing some of his biggest romantic hits, perfect for the occasion. He was followed by Mahmoud Ellithy, who’s music is known to bring people to the dance floor.
The music and film industry’s biggest stars gathered to celebrate the couple. The guest list included: Ahmed Helmy, Ahmed Malek, Ahmed Ezz, Yousef El Sherif, Amr Youssef, Karim Abdel Azziz and more.
